Are you planning on hanging out there for a while or is this going to be a poker trip?

Either way check out 1000 steps beach (9th Ave. on PCH) and/or Crescent Bay (I go spearfishing here). Both in Laguna Beach fairly close to Newport. They are both really nice relaxing beaches with small crowds.

P.S. Don't bring anything to heavy to 1000 steps. The walk back up the stairs sucks ass.
