I'm looking to play the WPT 300k tomorrow and I see some players are starting with a double stack for some reason. This seems like a 1 day tournament so I'm confused on why some would start with 2 mil in chips.

I saw this as well. Gags has 2.5x starting stack showing. It shows variable starting stack in the lobby. I pretty much only travel to NJ for WSOP bracelet/circuit events as I live like an hour away but this doesnt make any sense why a few players have more than starting stack.

Thanks. Didn't see these phases when I checked last week. Not a fan of this structure.
