Why is collusion in Satties viewed as"OK" by most? Why is collusion in Satties viewed as"OK" by most?

Ive been playing online poker for over 10 yrs and something i always noticed but never understood was"why do people feel its OK to collude in strictly satties?" Ive NEVER been in a mtt where we were 5 away and players said in chat what they say in satties.

Over the years in many satties players have said things like"hey buddy im locked in for the seat you can just take my blind" "hey if our whole table just folds everyhand we will all get the ticket" "hey bigstack can you minrasie and fold to my shove?
all of this is cheating but people feel in satties everyone at their table is "their friend" for some reason. Like its their table vs the rest. Do these people realise that by giving chips to someone to get the seat they are screwing over someone on another table?

Ive even seen a bigstack just now in a satty have 150k chips and minraise to 10k and folded to a 13k shove total and said"now your in!" Keep in mind these are most likely total strangers.

MY curiosity is why do people think this behavior is ok? it happens on EVERY site i ever played on and even in live poker sometimes.

Before you reply"just report it" thats not really the answer im looking for, and youd probably have to report 10 tables lol. Im just wondering WHY is it like this and widely accepted? I remember one time i was playing for a 540 ticket and i was the one who benfitted from it, We were down to 19 and 18 got seats and there was a chipleader who had 200k and we all had like 20k at 6k 12k so everyone kept folding to his jams and i was unfortionately forced allin in my bb eventually and the dude with over 200k typed in chat"hey you will make it now" and folded. Literally just gave me a free round which got me the seat when he should have just completed and ran the hand out. A guy i never seen before in my life. This happened against me too, but my point is WHY? i really dont understand it, i understand cheating and stuff but when complete strangers at the end of satties just pass chips back and forth i dont get. I also dont understand why people are so open about it. Its cheating. why is this ok? YOu guys had to have seen it before lol. End eant!

I obv. don't condone it but as to your question I think the reason is camaraderie. If we've been at the same table for an hour and done battle their can be a degree of respect that builds between us. If I have a seat locked up why not fold to you so you to can win. The players on the other tables I don't share that same respect with.
Furthermore you will think of me as a nice guy and the guys on the other tables I just don't think about because I don't see them. Out of sight, out of mind.

Obviously most seasoned and honest players don't do this but that's the likely reason for it.

Thats why on PS in satties, chat is disabled. As for the rest, it is absolutely reprehensible to collude like that. If you record it and report, the sites usually act on it to some degree

You know is somehow like the behavior that on the bubble it is ok to call someone and go check check all the way.
Not quite the same but i feel some people see it as an unwriten rule and follow this behavior.

I think its a power and generosity type thing. That person is probably pretty greatful if they aren't considering the ethics of the thing. Big stacks might not understand its unethical and might feel they're helping someone out (though I guess someone is being hurt by this as well). Eh I could be very wrong here but whatever.

Collin Moshman wrote something about that in his book.

No pay jump = no incentive to play.
