Word's gotten back to me via some friends that there have been a few people asking about what's going on with me, where I have been, etc.
In truth, I haven't been on TwoPlusTwo in quite a while. For many weeks, there were things that I could have said but shouldn't (and therefore didn't), and reading the threads in which I was involved was a frustrating exercise in futility. Also, in email I was attempting to reach a positive resolution regarding the issue mentioned in the next paragraph.
Without going into too much detail, I'll tell you that my working relationship with my then-new employer was severed shortly after the beginning of the first series I created for them. I'm not going to delve into any of the issues involved, as they're between me and the company, and I have no desire to become a pariah in the industry. All I will say is that looking back, it seems clear to me that the die was cast the instant all satellites save one for each event had to be removed from the client due to various client issues.
As for what's next, at this point that is very much up in the air. I have no intention of departing the industry permanently, and am very much looking forward to once again doing everything I can to give players a great time as they interact with anything which I had a hand in creating.
For the time being, I don't expect to be checking 2p2 daily, but I will wander in from time to time.
Thanks for the update Bryan. Glad you're well, I was worried something happened to you in private life, a bit relieved it's nothing really serious. Good luck!
Best of luck moving forward. I'm sorry that things didn't work out for you at Party as I believed that you could have delivered a solid COOP type series for them and the players.
Thank God they kick you out and the company made HUGE steps forward.......
No complains now,no problems,we enjoy playing poker, company crushing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
