First time, long time. I知 more of a lurker than a poster gents, but I知 seeking some advice. 2fold really.

I知 back in the game after a Black Friday hiatus. Been back playing for 6ish weeks with good results. Several online cashes in small buy ins on ignition and great live results. Took down two daily casino live tournaments along with a deep stack cash and mostly final table appearances otherwise.

Trying to assess my skill.

I would classify myself as tight aggressive. I model my game on Action Dan and I feel this suits my mind and personality. However, sometimes I feel like I知 leaving chips on the table. I知 more aggressive online than in person and look to bluff and steal more.

Should I let my results....which I知 happy with speak for themselves? Or should I look to open up my live game and be more aggressive?

I feel like I知 playing well, but you watch TV or watch videos and you feel like you should be 3betting more often. Never flatting. Bluffing with 7-2 off on a 4bet.

Am I reading too much into Hollywood hands?

I feel like my online reads are on point but I知 struggling live. When I知 just looking at cards online it痴 like I can soul read. 😂 But when I知 live I知 more passive.

At the end of the day I知 going to keep learning, but I知 wondering if my game is solid or if I知 not near as good as I think I am. I consume the game, but I have a family and 7 restaurants to run. This is a hobby. What level should I test myself at? I知 near a casino with a WPT event. There痴 a $350 buy in and also a televised $3500 buy in. Where will I find out exactly how good I am?

Even in the $100 plus casino weekend events it becomes a shove fest at the end.

Any advice is appreciated. If you read all that thank you.

You are probably no where near as good as you think you are.

Live is super soft unless the buy in is like $5000 plus.

Ignition low stakes is extremely soft as well.

I'd say if you have a 20% ROI at like $100 level online you are doing well, otherwise your skill level is likely to be pretty similar to other low online regs.

This is the answer I知 looking for. Don稚 get me confused, I have no illusions that I知 something special. I知 just trying to find a level that will test me at the top of my skill level. It痴 just a hobby. I don稚 plan on trying to make a living or anything. It痴 an escape and winning a little money doesn稚 hurt either. I知 just looking to find some tournaments where I get tested. If 5k live or $100 online is that level, then it痴 time to squirrel away some money and take a shot down the road. Thanks for the advice.
