I have this bad habit that I'm trying to break: I tend to snap call all in's when I have a flush draw. I don't use my time bank to ponder the villain's possible hand or think about how I only have about a 20% chance to hit the flush with both streets. My mouse is clicking 'call' before I've even had a chance to think. Its a reaction, a serious flaw in my game.

What do you do when you are called all in for your tournament life to ensure you give the situation proper consideration?

The flush draw has a 35% chance of hitting.

I'd post this in the beginners questions thread. You won't get an answer to this here

Try taking your hand off the mouse and put it in your lap when you have that feeling that you might snap call without thinking first.

I try to avoid calling all ins when I have <40% chance of winning a HU all in.

Generally speaking, this does not need excessive consideration on a case to case basis, I know the sorts of situations that tend to end me up too far behind and I avoid calling with them. I might shove.
