Hello Gentlemen and the Ladies if any

I am Poker noob

I recently been started HUD, and I notice my computer slow down when playing causing me to slow down.

Question to the all kind hearted people

Is it better to play without hud, or something can do about slowness due to table ninji and holdem manager

Is new computer worth it, if my cost of games daily is 300 $

Please advise as if the issue is your personal.

RAM could definitely be the issue. Not sure how many tables OP is running but on my 9 year old dinosaur PC with 6 gigs of RAM I'm able to run PT4 actively importing hands on 3 tables and I usually have music or a Twitch stream up. Runs fine so far.

If you have plenty of RAM another possibility is your computer may be infected with a virus. I actually had something funny where my virus software was causing my computer to bog down. Once I uninstalled it everything ran smoothly again.

All that said if you're averaging $300 per day in buy-ins you can easily get a more than sufficient computer for under a $1,000. If I were in your shoes and I couldn't resolve it with upgraded hardware or virus removal I would most likely treat myself to something new.

Turn animation off and also lobby banners..

You say you use HM2? enable the "Show HUD on active table only" option!

Close all software you are not using, Skype, Web browser ect.

Dont have tables at maximum size if you stack.

Clean your PC with Ccleaner free version, clean registry, remove all auto startup programs you dont need to auto start with it.

Scan for malware with malwarebytes free version.

Scan for spyware with superantispyware free version.

If I remember table ninja 2 takes a lot of computer resources, try using stars helper or table optimizer or starscaption

Could be old computer temperatures too if thermal paste needs renewing!

Check the temperatures with HWMONITOR

if your thermal paste isn't doing its job you'd know within about 15 seconds of each startup

also, if you are using windows 7, only the top 2 versions allow you to use more than 8gb ram.

just load up programs, open task manager and see where the resources are going. clients and hud should be no problem for any near decent computer
