I never got to talk to him, but I loved his contributions at pokerwit. Every one of his hand titles was a question that would make me laugh
"AJ to cold 4b??"
"some light action with the J7o??"
"Sunday 500 light action. The King Five"

The answer to every title was always a yes, and I always smiled.

Oh man, I'm cracking up/tearing up imagining Dana at a final table with this music in the background going nonstop. No wonder he was such a beast at final tables...that music just makes you want to play aggressive.

I wish I would've had the privilege of knowing Dana personally and enjoy hearing about what he was like outside of poker. I would always have a smirk on my face when I saw the Dana Gordon avatar on my table as I knew he'd go out of his way to mess with me because he knew he could.

I'm deeply saddened and my thoughts go out to his friends and family.

Very, very sad news. Truly one of a kind player and an exceptional grinder. Always loved to be seated in the same table with him because it was so fascinating to watch him play.
My condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in peace Paresh Jain.
