Didn't set any goals for 2013 & am sure glad I did not. Learnt a lot more poker than ever, worked on my game quite a lot (there's always room for improvement), began the year nicely w a bunch of profit. Then all things failed in life in april/may/june and that reflected in my game all the way after WCOOPs. Managed to barely save the year and bank on the 1.5 profitable months I was on my own at the beginning of the year, profitable MP investments, profitable liveaments poker wise(down w costs) and extra income from coaching.

2014 will definitely be the first year I actually set some goals, won't list all of them here for the same reasons Shane doesnt, but poker/life wise they look something like this:

[ ]profit 150k in the first 6mo including the 3-4 planned live trips (csots included)
[ ]profit 20k+ in the first 6mo from cash games (Im back at msnl) and get real good at it
[ ]learn PLO cash enough to beat 400NL online and transfer those skills in MTTs
[ ]10k MTTs + grind more small/midstakes to offset HS swings
[ ]take 1mo break and travel a LOT during that time in June
[ ]go on my own the last 5mo, profit 100k in all areas poker related (coaching/vids inc)
[ ]read 40 books or more (on track already for that goal for the past 4-5mo)
[ ]gym regularly, quickly get into calisthenics following April
[ ]quit smoking completely (dont do drugs, on track for the smoking goal already)
[ ]hate even less
[ ]be grateful even more
[ ]plan vacations ahead of time (and stuff in general), dont leave it on the spur of the moment
etc...

This is mainly ^ to have something to come back to, during the hard times (which Im sure will come)

P.P.S. one more important goal, as 2014 will be the year of changes: KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING, from poker profit to life costs, accomplishments, travels, random acts and experiences etc.. basically keep a very accurate journal, maybe even write in my blog - which has just 1 entry FML

Was the first half of the year in army and returned in the summer.
Was a slow start - but ran it up high and will count is as a legitamte ending to the year and will set my goals for time being here aswell

+1 to travel some place I haven't been. (pref - Spain,Italy or UK)

2013 was a really good year. won a decent amount of money meet a bunch of new ppl and got to do a lot of traveling (which got pretty old during the end of it) but was still a lot of fun. Pretty sure i am going to be moving to FL to focus on the live grind and get a more normal life.

2014 goals
[ ] Move to FL
[ ] play atleast 30 hours of live cash a week
[ ] play 75 live mtts
[ ] make 100k at live cash
[ ] have a 6 fig score
[ ] get better at talking to chicks
[ ] get down to 180 (think i am about 200 atm)

2013 Poker Goals

-$150k in rb bonuses and live made around $60k online and a little over $100k live
-15k mtts not focusing on sngs as much this year: Played about 9,500 games inc sngs
-150k VPPS over both stars did 100k on .cpm and 25k on .fr
-FT a Weekly Major or a Live Main Event: Won FPS France Main Event Won GUKPT Stockton and 9th in BPS Main Event & FT .fr Sunday Special
-P5's Online Tripple Crown No but came so close a few weeks gathering a couple of firsts and 2nds 3rds etc
-Visit 4 new Countries and 14 live tours Deffo did 14 live tours but no new countries unfortunately
-More study: Not Enough
-$25k plus score: Yes $77k and $30k live
-Top 30 UK p5s: didnt quite get there didnt really play consistently enough throughout the year

Life Goals
-Go to Vegas: neg visa issues
-Actually become fit again and play more sports: Hardly
-Eat more healthy: nope although better than last year

2014 Goals:

$150k live and online
Maintain SN
Play more Mtts online and game select better
Less degening at live trips
Go to Vegas
Play first EPT

2013 was a very bad year, 3,547 online MTTs and 7 live tournaments and just +18k€ profit. New tournaments included Omaha Hi-Lo MTT, which brought in most of the profit.

Goals for 2014:
Poker
Overall profit: +75k€
Tournaments online: 3000
Omaha Hi-Lo-tournaments: at least 1500

Other
University: Bachelor of Political Science ready
University of Applied Sciences: Finish remaining little courses and either a thesis or an internship rest of the heap (left only those for Bachelor of Business Administration)
Weight Loss: 77 kg -> 65 kg

So, that should do a good year Would also like to visit Las Vegas first time during WSOP.

Never got in on this but nows as good a time as any as the 2014 goals havent changed

Make SN (for first time hopefully - well ahead of track atm)
Learn to crush 6m cash (which for me means learn how to fold, stop overestimating fold equity and dont spazz)
Be healthy and rested for Sundays and if I'm not don't play
Work on my game off the table by learning new ways to analyze it...not just rehashing
Just show a winning record this year from MS/HSMTTs from mostly Saturday/Sunday grinding with a couple midweek days

I just requested all my hands from 2014 for my mtt graph, this might take a few days tho.

Good first half of the year made me a bit complacent but then it has been replaced by pretty bad 2nd half poker wise.
An ok year could have been better if only I didn`t have to spend ton of time in hospital dealing with wide array of health issues.

In 2015 I`ll be awaiting updates on 1st 2014 goal and go from there I guess.
Its sad teh game is dying.
