[converted_hand][hand_history]Poker Stars, $50 Buy-in (5,000/10,000 blinds, 1,250 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: 952,880 (95.3 bb)
Hero (BB): 165,043 (16.5 bb)
MP: 237,865 (23.8 bb)
CO: 139,980 (14 bb)
BTN: 259,232 (25.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Ks7c
3 folds, SB raises to 951,630 and is all-in, Hero ?

Pay jump is 500 dollars. SB is very very aggressive during the whole tournament. Couple of hands before he took a big hand, and has played every hand since that.

I know icm tells us that we should be very tight in this spot, but can you find reasons to call this?

If we consider that he will be opening very wide still and we wont be able to get so many shove spots what do we do?

Since 6/12k bb level is begging with the next do we lose a lot of fold eq in given situation in future orbit?

IF you take a negative edge here, how much is it?

Isn't this a clear fold even without considering ICM?

It's close if SB is playing optimal. Now SB is playing about any 2 maybe getting tricky with some top and bottom hands, but that might be good for us. Still pretty easy fold and if I were the leader I would hate to see this call and then lose, lose, lose and get 3rd or something.

This is about as clear as spots get to be close to ICM strat, doubling up only makes our stack harder to play in any decent cEV way (In general when ICM strat is furthest away from optimal is when you can double to get chiplead or close to it with position)

Think about what your asking. Never take a 'negative edge'.

Too lazy to break down the numbers, but basically it is an easy fold in this spot.
Without icm pressure at all and if SB really does push any two, this is a call. If SB plays RTO optimal and without icm, this is probably a fold, but a close one.
But with the icm pressure, I'm pretty certain that even against any two, this is a pretty negative $EV proposition.

Without CO in game this is a pretty easy snap call.

But here its an easy fold.
