Quitting live cashgames, I want to grind MTTs again. Quitting live cashgames, I want to grind MTTs again.

BACKGROUND:

I live in germany. I have started play Online Poker in 2010/2011. A the time i made a little deposit (500$) and grinded my way up with the 180 man turbo on Pokerstars. I played only the 2,50$ Dollar turbo and grinded my roll to about 3-4 K in a time span of 3 years (i played 2 times a week, 8-10 Hours a day 8 tabling, and used a lot of my winnings to pay private expenses). After that i got a real job and couldnīt grind anymore, so i decided to cash out my Bankroll. After that i decided to take my 4k and grind the live cashgames at my local casino, mostly 2/2 and 2/4. The games were very soft, and every day of the week was plenty of action with a lot of bad players. In the last 4 Years i got my Bankroll to 20k wich iīm very proud of. But now (in the last 4-5 months) the games are just dead. Every day of the week run only one table and that game is full of Regs and tight players wich donīt spew money anymore. The rake in europe for live cashgames sucks and without real whales i donīt see any value in grinding this game anymore. My hourly winrate dropped way too much in the last months. so i decided to quit live cashgames.

Now i have a new Job, a good Bankroll and i have 2 free days a week where i could potentially grind Online again.

I want to grind MTT again, but im been out of business for a lot of time so i have to plan my grind good.
Iīm reading a lot books to refresh my MTT skills, and watching a lof of videos before the grind begins.
I have a couple of questions for the MTT grinder in forum:

1) I know the games got a lot toughter in the last years, so i want to make good games selection. I play from germany so i can play on a lot of different sites. My ABI will be in the 20-30$ Range, and i will focus mainly on Regular Speed Full ring Freeze out MTTs. I want to avoid the big field mtts, and play a lot of the 100-300ppl one. Thats because i want to minimize my variance and have a good ROI. What site should i play on? is there anywhere a site that shows all Tournament running at any given time online?

2) I can play 12-14 Hours a day from 10:00 am in the morning. I never be an heavy multitable grinder so i would play 6x or 8x most of the time. So i can focus better on my decisions and i can play my Agame for much longer. How many tournaments can i expect to grind at day with an 20-30 ABI?

3) What is the best program to multitable nowdays on different sites? I have played with table Ninja in the past but i was only playing on Pokerstars and now i need something wich i can safety multitable on different sites.

4) What ROI can i archieve in this type of games? is 30% a realistic goal longterm?

Ty for reading, and sorry for my bad english.

Firstly congrats on building a great roll playing live cash. Your success is not going to mean a whole lot when it comes to your intended goal of playing $22-$33 online mtts, esp as your only previous mtt experience is $2.50 180 mans back in 2011!

I would not start at $20 av buyin if I were you. $20 and above the a lot of mtts are quite reggish and even if there are some bad players by the time you get deep most people know what they are doing.

I'd look to start off with playing $5.50 mini marathon, Big $5.50, Big $11, $11 Bounty Builder on pokerstars. $5.50 deep stacks is pretty soft as well. You can throw in $22 Bounty Builder and the Big $22 as they attract more recs. I'd avoid stuff like the $16.50 deep stacks, $27 deep stacks or any of the random non-labelled $11-$20 mtts (3000 starting chip ones). These mtts are very reggish and you will have a tough time making a good ROI.

Basically play the red labelled mtts on stars Bigs and bounty builders. I'd look to start around $11 av buyin and move up from there. Theres other mtts on 888 and party as well.

Ty for The reply. I like your advice, But i think The tournaments you are telling about are all high Variance cause The Fields are just too big. On wich sites can i find soft tournaments nowdays where The Field is Not that big?
Another question: im new to all this Formats like Pko and bounty Builder, what kind of Roi can i Expect in these Types of game? Are They better than FOs?

Party Poker and 888 have smaller fields. It's a balancing act as the 3000 starting chip ones have less players, but tougher field. I'd experiment and see what works best for you.
