Pokerstars possible Low/Mid-stakes Winter series ideas - Page 2 - MTT Poker Strategy

i personaly think something like micro millions where theres an option of it hapening multiple times a year on a slightly smaller scale than a single slightly longer affair would fit better as theres just countless players thirsting for sth like this. it doesnt neccessaily need to be a MCOOP (which in fairness would be amazing, just saying it doesnt HAVE to be)

I have 0 to ****ing 0% faith in stars making anything great for regulars. "be patient, exciting things is coming". Just a bunch of bs from amaya's side.

If you mean that low/midstakes players deserve their own prestigous mtt series with great structures you can be sure to get lots of love.

this thread needs to stay on page 1
i really hope that you come up with a small series this year maybe just Tuesday- Sunday but with nice guarantees and a bit of promo like 22$ tourney tickets if you deposit 250$ or more
with that promo you could do a 22$ 1million guaranteed main event

and go for it big time next year with 50$ 1,5million guaranteed main..
would be the biggest series ever if you do it right

We've discussed various possibilities and will continue to do so. Having said that, I can share with you that any prospective mid-stakes series won't be happening before TCOOP 2017.

I like the idea quite a lot, in fact. It's just not happening in the near future. As much as it might seem simple to just throw a major series onto the calendar, it's not that simple and there are many considerations to take into account, research to do, etc. We don't do things haphazardly. As I've mentioned, we are discussing the potential of a mid-stakes *COOP in the future, but it's not going to happen this year. That's not saying that it won't happen at all. I can't guarantee that it will definitely happen in 2017, but as I've also mentioned, I quite like the idea and have been thinking along similar lines for a while.
