I've run worse in stars mtts in the last 2 years than i can ever remember in 15 years playing there so if "variance" is a real thing then i should be a lock to FT this wcoop-L main event tomorrow.

The great run continues, allin pre with AK, called and busted by K9. Keep thinking my luck has to change after 2 years but i guess the past doesn't affect the future, you can run bad every year forever. There is no such thing as "variance" in mtt. Some people are lucky and some are not.

Great planning of the last phase 1 for the 22. Its 22 minutes left to play. At :55 is a break and the phase 2 starts :05. So we will be finished 5 minutes after phase 2 starts. How does that work.

Edit: Seems they pushed it back 10mins now.

Can't believe they actually played out the $16.50 mini pacific rim. It must have been paused for like 2.5 hours or so before they restarted it. Didn't finish til super late even with the field only being 1/3 of the normal size.

Yep it was one of those days, I was still in the Sunday million day 2 and it gets cancelled with 106 players remaining.

They don’t even pay out the bounties when they cancel a tournament, so I assume they just keep the bounty prize pool to themselves....

1st prize would’ve been upwards of $100k (including bounties) Instead 1st place at the time got $12k. So sick.

Nope. The bounty on each players head goes into the normal prizepool which is paid out by ICM.
Which means if a bounty tournament gets cancelled, you lose equity if you have a big bounty on your head. On the other side you win a lot of equity if you have a big stack and a small bounty.

Its kinda messed up how they handle it.

Stars has sent a survey around about multiplayer formats including the possibility of multiplayer tournaments and different ideas how they could work.

I checked my payout email again, I got my starting bounty refunded. They chopped up the non bounty prize pool... some of it evenly and then the rest via chip count.

I guess they would lose out if they paid out the bounties on people’s head at the time, but yeah the way they handle these situations in general is just really poor.

What's the temporary fix? Why do they insist on giving us less choice?

Only positive change I can think of in the last several years has been the early min cash payout. Everything else has just gone downhill.

Hmm... I don't have any of those folders.

Just trying to play one tournament to test this. Playing at any table size that would make it possible to multitable the cards and text is tiny. Also, does HEM2 just not work on Aurora? This is so ****.
