i started recently with a own thread for multi day tournaments

First Problem:
I didn't notice about this tournament, it was just a coincidence.
First of all, pokerstars would have to start a proper client and online marketing campaign for such new tournaments, to attract ordinary and enough players.
Since most have to combine jobs and families with their poker hobby, three days in a row is actually the maximum. I would rather tend to two day tournaments.
As an example of a test phase, I would suggest the following:
Every evening
at 8 a 3.30$ MTT
at 7 a 11$ MTT
by 8 a 22$ MTT
(maybe even with satellites - 0.33+R, 1.11+R, 2.20+R- to increase the number of participants)
Micro and low level makes the most sense here, because the target group are the recreational players.
The advantages are obvious:
If tournament phase 1 lasts a maximum of 4 hours, I know that I'll go to bed around midnight (lately), which is just fine.
If tournament phase 2 takes longer the next day, it's ok, because you're already deeper in the money, and so the lack of sleep is a little better to bear.
So far it is very frustrating to sit at a tournament for 7 hours and then to have on place 25 hardly anything from the prize pool.
I am sure that two day tournaments with guaranteed prize money, which are well promoted, will attract a large number of players.
not to forget, multi day tournaments are very appealing for amateur players, as you can feel a bit like a pro, because these tournaments over several days are usually only known from television or 5k buyin tournaments like the recent one millions online on partypoker.
There should be more offers for ordinary players, and I am of the opinion: Pokerstars should do justice to its pioneering role also in this field!
