100% disagree with you, while the current iteration might not be perfect, having only 109$+ was no where near good.

Although i have never played a WCOOP event (bankroll reasons) i have to admit that it is more prestigious to have big buy ins.You could run the mini version like you did some years ago.Imo 3 tiers are for Spring not for World.

I think he is wrong about the PKOs. IMO only the oldschool regs rly hate them and pretty much every recreational loves them, so it makes sense to have a lot of them.
But I rly do not get why they decided to let it start this early and make it only 2 weeks. Why not let it start a week later, let it go 3 weeks with all the biggest buy ins at the end of the month and everybody would be happy?

Yeah that seems a pretty ****ing awful decision to overlap it with EPT Barca.
I assume that there must be some other reason. Otherwise it's just unbelievably stupid and incompetent.
There are thousands of players at EPT Barca.

I do actually like the fact that it's only 2 weeks this time now. Especially with so many events per day and the tiers.
Obviously the tiers have several pros and cons here, though overall I think I like it this time.

I'm just worried that with the number of re-entries not having been announced yet, that there will be infinite.
PLEASE, PLEASE limit them to 1 re-entry at most. Especially for the mixed games.
Or at worst maybe implement the idea of the low and mid events having more re-entries, but the high events only being a maximum of one re-entry. Otherwise it just absolutely kills the fields.
2k mixed events with a maximum of 4 entries seriously just ruin the fields. Especially if you allow re-entry until as late as it has been in the past, allowing people to reg with like 7BBs is really bad for the tournaments for a variety of reasons.
Especially when Bryan says about wanting more "Prestige" for them this year, having them as SCOOP did just annihilates the prestige of them, where regs can max late reg their finally bullet and try and buy a win and also drastically negatively affecting the leader boards.

Barcelona ends 2 Sep. WCOOP starts 2 Sep. So one day of overlap IF you make the last day of the main or the high roller or play one of the last day side events? How much of an overlap is that to get upset about?

Im very happy about tiered series but only 2 weeks is bad ,better add 3-4 more days and more events ,people complaining about theres no badugi (which i dont care ) but i think is good to have more events.
And mr LUKE asked me what i think about every day sonic 22$ satelite tourney to 215$ i think-no .I asked if theres possibility for my propositions to be implemented somehow or with little changes which i think will be aproved from other players .And please put more micro stakes hypers in the schedule 2$-11$ they never overlay .

one thing that sucks for a lot of players is, that pokerstars decides to announce the dates and the schedules of scoop and wcoop so close to the eventual start.

This results in a guessing game for most people. Most players have a job, are recreational players who want to play some events or even want to take and plan holiday for the whole series.
Therefore people need the dates early enough if you change them to the previous year. You never really changed Scoop dates so it was easy to plan.
WCOOP was the same with always taking place late september to early october.

It was a horrible decision to change dates this drastically and inform players four weeks before the first event starts.
So I guess it won't be just me who is on holiday during that time because you didnt think its necessary to let people know.

Most people get back from Barcelona the day after the final day. So that is 2 days of overlap.
A lot of people either play one of the many side events on the last day, and/or go out on that night, or rail the Main event.
(I personally will get back on the 4th.)

No reason why there shouldn't be a 530 main with 3m gtd.

Run loads of MTT and spin sats to it and it'd make the guarantee.

WCOOP was at the exact same time last year check the dates. Maybe EPT Barcelona was a week earlier.

come on guys, 2 weeks, thats like a nano second in the poker world, personally i dont even look at the schedules anymore, i know that they take out alot of the mix games ie 2-7 nl or triple draw .

i know what will be in the schedule which is a shame, and i dont know it just doesnt seem presented as well as other years? maybe just me cause it has psko next to basically every event

anyways i know u wont add a mid main but a 55 and 5k is way too much of a gap, make a 530 for the mid guys who want to play a 5k but aint got the roll for it, but will be willing the flick a 530 imo. run sats .

i personally would of loved to see some of the old wcoop type games, i hope the structures are similar to old years.

The EPT Barca sub satellites currently have wrong titles in their lobbies, e.g.
- a €11 Deep is actually a €5 Deep (12:07 ET today)
- all €82 Deep-Hyper are actually 10 min clock, 5k starting

So i open up OPR today and get shown this player: Bigfish112392
Started playing around April and instantly winning. 2k mtts, even 2k buyin events.
I just find this suspicious and really hope that security verifies every new account closely.
It basically happens every day I grind that I look up a unknown player and a good chunk of them just started recently in 2018 and instantly started winning in the games. Not just Stars but even more on PP and 888. Micros and SS might be a little easier to explain but I think it gets a lot harder on the highstakes as I think that the majority of these players are known and played Stars a lot longer.

Bigfish112392 country explains a lot, he's from The Philippines thus likely a poker refugee. Many of these are allowed to make a new account when moving because their old .com account had been transferred to one of their sites in a regulated jurisdiction and that causes administrative hassles for Stars, especially when the player wants to play at multiple locations.

I don't agree with that and think Stars should be more consistent with their username policy regardless of their administrative issues caused by the multiple versions of their site, but you can't blame that on the player. Moving to Belgium and back now allows you to choose a new username, and there are probably more scenario's like that.
