I would play the Goop $11 and the Goopier $22 on a Sunday. I think you've found your replacement to the 'Splash' Luke

If that happens I'll rename myself to Goopgroente.

That was funny.
You understand how rake works right? As in "just missing" still means they make money.

It's the same guarantee today despite it nearly hitting 5k yesterday with it's poor guarantee.

The whole site is turning into a gongshow, hardly any responses ITT, not listening to suggesting, making guarantees smaller, ****ing us on rake.

Even ITT, Stars doesn't have someone who can regularly engage with people, a ****ing billion dollar company can't pay someone $15/hr to interact with people and we have to deal with a guy that basically does it because he can.

Yes, I know how rake works.
If you are this frustrated you might move your business to other sites or stop with poker.

Why are bubble rush tournaments re reentry but the bigs and hots aren't I assume because the edges are supper small yet they have the full rake and the others you can have a edge in

I didn't think you did because it's not like Stars has an overlay problem and if it comes close, they make money, but you really dealt with my concern.

I think a better thought is, if you don't like my posts, don't read em or move your posts to another thread.

Hope this helps.

1) Would be nice if the satellite to the hot 82 could start a little bit earlier. I think entering the tournament at level 9 is a little late. It seems it could end a bit earlier without any chance of people unregging.

2) the $44 4max often ends latereg with 14-15 players and 11 paid, and judging on how many people that enter in the last few minutes I think this might be bit broken. Maybe it should pay fewer people.

Am I the only one who sees all tournaments as "cancelled" and the rest as "registering" with 0 entrants? I saw this yesterday as well

Hmm nevermind, seems to be a problem with my laptop

I'd like to see a lot of the deadline satties moved earlier as well. I don't like late regging past half an hour or so.

I had same issue with $16.50 Sat to 109 BB a while back... Shipped a seat and started with 18bb and 4 mins left in level so I just stopped playing it.

Luke, why did you remove $2.20 NLHE from 8:50 CET? At least add some $2.20 Deep Stacks there...

What's the process for setting gtd? yesterday the Pacific rim was set as a 12k gtd yet the week before it was 15k and hit comfortably. So why was it moved down?

This week it still beat the gtd and came in around 17k so will this be put back to 15k?

I don't really understand this process as I see gtd all the time getting reduced on FO that hit gtd but psko are seemingly never reduced.

Given the last 2 years of amaya I am more than a little suspicious of how these are decided.

I know I'm late to the party on this one but fired the storm yesterday and was shocked to see the $10 + $1 model had been changed to $9.80 +$1.20 or something ridiculous along those lines...

man stars is really getting greedy .. if only there was another site that offered a comparable schedule/guarantees/software etc. I'd switch in a heartbeat

anyways thats just my 2 cents

Give Party a shot. The software isn't as good... But if you only play a few tables it should be fine. The guarantees are as good though.

I complained about this a page back, two of the tournies I play which both regularly hit it were taken down a notch and still kept hitting it.

I guess the way you structure guarantees can be done in many ways and Stars wants to be 100% certain that the players will have ZERO chance at an overlay because God forbid that happens.

This is basically the future of Stars, less rakeback, lower guarantees, grovelling for responses from a billion dollar company and them acting like basic interaction with customers is some tedious chore that is above them.

I think you are right that Stars want to be sure guarantees are hit. Over the last couple weeks my sense is that the volume has declined and therefore guarantees are reduced. Might be related to the rake changes. Today there are tourneys changed from freeze to re-entry which is another attempt to meet volume from less players. I think they feel some heat from Party who does set aggressive guarantees. It will be interesting what happens with the special Million on Sunday.

Which one would that be? I checked and I think this is fake news.

I've played there a bit, fired a few of the Powerfest (or Power Series events, can't remember which one) and also satellited into a tourney for Playground Poker in Montreal, but I'll have to start looking at their normal schedule more thoroughly moving forward.

Thanks for the advice!
