Random but funny how bad Stars is. They had one remaining sat to the high roller event 1 but some guy had bad internet and kept getting disconnected. The sat ended 3 mins too late so Stars had to fork up five 2k tourney tickets as registration had ended, and were $116k short of the guarantee. Ooops!

Wow yeah just noticed it overlayed by $116k...interested to see what the main event with the same buyin but $2m gtd looks like next Sunday. That one allows re-entries at least, surprised this one didn't.

IMO poor satellites. Once I saw the low guarantee seats I didn't even bother regging it.

I will give pokerstars cred for one thing, and that is the daily marathon. I really like that tournament and basically play it on a daily basis nowadays (80% itm in that tourney only, lool)

I see one added 4.4 $ PKO deep stack 3 grd at night which is good but if its turbo or 1 hour earlier will be better because deep stacks continies until too late anyway 3 k guaranteed is too small for night schedule but i can image this will be changed after they see more pariticipation there.If we see 2-4 tourneys 1-3 hours earlier i think the schedule will be very good ,after morning time is allready a little bit better when u added 3-4 tourneys.After that if u change ******ed payouts by cutting them by at least 2.5-5% and return vip system to supernova and mby we will see players coming back,bigger traffic. And hopefully someday markets come back after u work hard for entering again in there.

The $1050 High Roller with no late registration today had a nice overlay of $34,000 today.

That makes 2 / 4 High Roller events with overlay. That makes it a combined $150,000 of overlay in the two events.

After the PCA satellite $500,000 overlay last month, and now this, I think heads will definitely roll.

I think a lot more events in the High Roller series will miss their guarantees. I'm not sure that there are enough people with that kind of money to blow day after day online.

I think a lower stakes series ($500 - $1000 buy in) would have done much better.
