Haha.... so you're playing this FT or the FT bubble in a wcoop event and people chatter constantly in some vamos language - possible collusion/info-sharing talk.

The only way is to send a normal support email, and hope to get a reply after 3 days?

Are you serious?

Re: PokerStars MTT Thread

It might be worth stripping a couple of levels from the WCOOP L 47 109$ Day 1 - it's currently scheduled to play 34 lvl on day 1, ending around 06:00 CET.
If someone makes it until the end (or gets towards it) and has also played either the SE Warm-up or the earliest L for the day it leaves them 6-7 hours between one ends and the Day 2 of the other starts.

Obviously can't affect too many people, but thought it might be worth a look

Come and play Pokerstars flagship "Big" tournaments! Where if you final table, you get 2.5x your buyin back!!!

Also seems like the recs have figured out theres no mods any more. Lots of swearing and abuse on my tables today.

Great changes Pokerstars. I'm closer and closer to quitting your site altogether every single day.

Very noticeable indeed. Racism, non-English and swearing is rampant in the Stars chat, not only from recs. Who's gonna report it when that's such a hassle? No one, and thus it'll get worse and worse.

Jesus Christ Stars, if you really have to manually stop and restart for a 3-day-Event then maybe you could start it at the announced time? Or, you know, give us the possibility to call for a mod?

Day 1s are unnecessarily too long and gruelling. I don't see why they need to be 9-11 hours long when Day 2 doesn't last anywhere near as long. Who the **** wants to grind 11 hours in a row?

Yeah it's the same every series with no explanation given.
And plenty of us have given feedback that actually it's day two which should be significantly longer - as who's going to complain about staying up for longer when you've just reached a final table and are guaranteed lotsof $$$

The last time I played a two day Championship event the first day lasted for ten hours, then the final table was reached only three hours into the second day (though I was knocked out after about half an hour).

Day 1's are absurdly long. Im playing from Asia and couldn't fire a bunch of events because it's close to impossible to finish the first day at a decent time. Can def shave a couple hours off the day 1 length.

Re: PokerStars MTT Thread

Hey all,

Getting near the end of WCOOP! Here's what's going on the rest of the week:
  • So far, we've awarded 50x $5,200 WCOOP Main Event tickets in Stars Rewards chests, 36 players have won entry via Spin & Go, and 134 have won entry via our daily seat added satellite. All satellites to the $5,200 Main Event have been deployed. Good luck winning your seat!
  • Tomorrow's $2,100 Heads-Up Event is capped at 128 entries. Be sure to register early if you want to guarantee yourself a seat.
  • We'll be ramping up the satellite schedule for the $215 Main Event, but there will not be a massive satellite schedule for this Event. The focus is on the $5,200/$10M.

Nope, no VIP Bashes to the Main Event. Personally, I think the seat added satellite is much cooler anyways!

I'm the one sending these messages. The reason I'm sending them is simple: they work. Our highest stakes players typically use filters and have communications turned off. This means they'll miss games they want to play. For instance, many of them have satellites filtered out, but they're definitely interested in the $530 satellites we've been running to the $25K High Roller. I'll use them as infrequently as possible, but they're likely to be in play for the rest of the week.

Yes, except for the $25K High Roller and $5,200 Main Event. Satellites to those Events are restricted to players who haven't yet qualified.

There's no getting away from scheduling conflicts, but we do try to reduce their impact as much as possible. You're right that 47-L played for a long time on Day 1, but it was because the field size was expected to be massive. In the end, I think playing 8.5 hours on Day 1 was the right call.

This was my fault, apologies! Glad to see you turned your frustration into a victory, though. Congrats

Can you give specific examples? I've been reducing Day 1 length where possible. I haven't gotten to Thursday and beyond yet.

Could you reg the sat then reg the target event and get T$ if you cash the sat?

Re: PokerStars MTT Thread

Most recent NLHE completed 2 day events:

48-L: Day 1 was 9 hrs. Day 2 5hrs.
47-L: Day 1 nearly 9.5 hrs. Day 2 nearly 7.5 hrs
45-L: Day 1 slightly more than 8.5 hrs. Day 2 nearly 3.5 hrs
44-L: Day 1 nearly 10 hrs. Day 2 6.5 hrs

50-H: Day 1 10 hrs. Day 2 10.5 hrs
49-H: Day 1 9.25 hrs. Day 2 9.5 hrs
48-H: Day 1 just over 9 hrs. Day 2 7.5hrs
47-H: Day 1 9.25 hrs. Day 2 9.25 hrs

High events are well balanced, low events are not. Please make day 1s shorter for low events, max 8 hours long including breaks would be an improvement for all players involved.

Re: PokerStars MTT Thread

I disagree,
I prefer day 1's to be as long as possible - Day 2's usually start in the middle of an already busy schedule the following day whereas playing later into the night where we have less games going is morel ideal for a deep run.

I def think early start time events should play longer on day 1 as most players are continuing to play other events anyway. Perhaps the later starting events could have shorter day 1's to try to cut down on the 15hr sessions.
In a perfect world you could maybe have 12hrs from the start of the 1st the event till the end of the last or something like that.

Re: PokerStars MTT Thread

In regards to the LOW events - I think it would be much better to have the LOW events before the HIGH -

I'll use todays Courchevel event as an example - If the low event ran 1st then players who aren't as familiar with the game would get to play at a lower buy in to "practice", learn the game, etc... - I'm sure quite a few players that enjoyed the LOW, ran deep, made money, etc. would then give the HIGH a go.

i think we would get quite a few more players in the HIGH versions if the LOW ran before.
