some kind of 'blue majors' monthly triple crown promo would be awesome.

2 versions,

main version with large prize, only qualifying mtts - Monday-Saturday 7pm GMT major, Sunday kickoff, warm-up, supersize, million, 2x Grands, supersonic

'Low' versioon with fraction of prize - All above + all minis, earlys, lates.

have to win 3 in a month to claim top prize. could either make it a very large prize for a '3 wins only' promo, or maybe 1 chunky prize for winning 3 + 3 or 4 different consolation prizes for 2 wins, X amount of FT's, x amount of top 3's etc.

would encourage regs to play on quieter weekdays where majors are smaller fields, which would beef up the frankly tame prizepools on offer during off peak days.

Could also have a cool sweat page where everyone w/ 2 wins for the month is listed.

Edit : seems like the 'main' version of my idea would just be such a long shot, maybe bi-monthly would make it more feesable, or have a few other tournies accross the schedule as qualifying towards the promo

I really think that a 55 phase 1 running daily to a MONTHLY phase 2 with a guarantee of 500k-1m would be a huge success. Massive rec appeal, low ish buyin, huge prize potential. Do lots of 11 sats to the 55 phase 1 (running alongside the 10k payday phases) and you're laughing. Do it last Sunday of every month as part of your VIP monthly promotion weekend. Also, if you made it PSKO & re-entry I'm fairly sure you'd crack a 1m guaranteed every month.

Just a thought! By the way, I'm exactly the target for this sort of tourny and it would be my ideal event as a weekend regular player who doesn't play for a living.
Just echoing this again. Someone back me up here!

This also isn't a bad idea.

Hey everyone,

On Thursday, we made credits to players we identified as negatively affected when tournaments resumed ~19:29 ET. Here is what we did:
  1. Determined whether or not a player was logged in at both 19:32 and 19:52. If a player was logged in at both times, we assume chips lost were due to normal play.
  2. For those who were logged out at one or both of those times, we calculated their chip equity lost and subtracted any roll forward credits and cash awards already received.

If you haven't received a credit as a result of this mass action and feel you deserve one, please contact Support with as much information as possible.

Everyone has been credited across all affected licenses. The reason I've provided the criteria for crediting players is because there's some edge cases that will pop up. I encourage players who think they are deserved compensation to write in, but again, please include as much detail as possible to explain your reasoning.

Has any decision been made in this respect ?

It is more than obvious than I would have played completely differently if I had known tournies were going to be rolled over litteraly 1 min after I busted out, and would have remained in the tourney. One can expect the tourney to continue once it was unsuspended.
I'm afraid we won't credit anyone for chips lost during natural play.

I've passed this feedback on, thanks.

The way we display knockouts in the client has changed. For more information, see this blog post.

Not because of WSOP itself, but because of seasonality. Traffic always decreases in the summer. Once summer ends, guarantees will increase.

We have changed the process for communicating with players following site issues, but this is just a bad experience. Basically, we provide players a "holding" response until we make mass credits as we did on Thursday. Then, we write all those players to tell them we've made credits and to follow up if they still need help. I'll ask our Support managers to see what happened this time and pass on the feedback so they can refine the process.

Passed this on as well, thanks.

I have received nothing, while I busted in 2 tourneys during that time, and lost chips in 3. Please note that it was sort of possible to log in, but the client wasn't usable and tables of tourneys wouldn't pop up. So being logged-in or not is a bad measure for fair compensation, sitting out or not would have been the right one. I requested the HH of these tourneys and I was sitting out during the whole time (as were 90% of the players at my tables).

I've contacted support many times but they outright ignored my questions exept for a nonsensical standard answer to my 1st email, no holding response whatsoever. Can you please confirm support policy has changed and they will now answer questions regarding this issue?

Well, I've found out what the issue with support is.

Replied to a previous unanswered e-mail regarding the issue: again no answer.

Then tried an email from scratch with new subject: answer within minutes.

Shouldn't be like that, but seems no ill will from Stars to ignore emails.

These are actually not new requirements, but the surfacing of them is new. I spoke with my colleagues in our security department who gave me some context that I can share.

To adhere to our license regulations, players are unable to withdraw or transfer funds from deposits, without first wagering these at least once (x1).
In areas where player to player transfers tool are allowed, the same wagering requirement applies. Funds received by player transfer must be wagered before they can be withdrawn or transferred. The only change has been to integrate it as a feature within the cashier to reduce the impact on players by reducing the number of transactions that are cancelled manually (due to no wagering) and the associated delays and poor experience associated.

The balances are displayed separately in the Cashier window to show you which part of your total balance can be withdrawn:

• 'Available': This is the total balance in your account derived from deposits, winnings and any other credits.
• 'Available to withdraw': This is the amount from your available balance that can be withdrawn.

If the two amounts displayed are identical, this means that all the funds in your account derive from winnings (or you've cleared the requirements), and you can withdraw the total balance.

The requirement to clear deposits and/or funds received by transfer aren't rake-related, they must simply be wagered on a 1:1 basis on either Poker/Sports/Casino.

Let me know if any more questions on this and I can chase an answer.

Regards,
Dylan

They say that they are "not new requirements" yet I, nor anyone I've ever had dealings with and we are talking at least over a hundred if not more people have had this issue arise before.

I received the same disingenuous email from their support with the same text and just figured that they'd made a mistake.

This is so ****ing bad. Please reconsider.

What a blatant lie, this is for sure something new. Sstars keeps moving towards the average pathetic online-casino by forcing wagering requirements on theyr customers. Should a midstakes grinder seriously ****ing be forced to wait for eternity in order to be able to withdraw a $20k score?

You don't get it. If you win - you can withdraw all what you want. You can't withdraw the money you just deposited or received from another player.

How is it "natural play" when you are paused for over an hour with 0 communication from stars and are mentally prepared for a 5 way chop at your FT. Then you briefly restart play and I am coolered to finish 5th, only to see a chip chop done no later than 2 hands after I bust. Maybe I could understand if the mtt was paused for only 5 mins and then restarted, and then it was paused again due to another server issue. But the only reason the mtts were ever restarted was because of an error by Stars. They should have been cancelled right away.

Also what if you were at a table with so many players sitting out and you are forced to play short handed or heads up during this restart period. If you bust is that natural play?? Real natural play never would have created this shorthanded situation.

Looking for where i said they owe me anything. Just said its sad what has become of stars and that constructive feedback is pointless. No real need to be rude to Luke either but can understand it when he treats the intelligent readers of this forum like idiots with his PR replies in this thread addressing nothing important.

I have already made my peace with the fact that stars mtts will resemble a slot machine with a 99% payout in the not so distant future. All in on crypto to get rich now

You had no problem with blinding off people that were sitting out and the starting point of you being one of the only connected players was a very profitable one. Fair game to try to make use of the situation, but not fair to complain when that turned out bad.

You could learn something from Kloonike when it comes to accepting your loss...
