Just take my 7 bucks a week rakeback and put it towards "reaching the highest guaranteeds ever". What's ironic is that the guarantees across the board seem to be at an all time low.

Less rakeback is easier to understand. I highly suggest having no rakeback on stars, so no one gets confused anymore. Instead stars could give us more Zombies we can hunt.

So it seems like highrollers decided to boycott pokerstars at last. Target is 5,2k Turbo Series 108. Even more - partypoker like smart guys jumped in and created similar tourney in their room with even bigger guarantee.

The abomination of most of their tourney structures has been disheartening as MTT player on their site and I cannot imagine it was ever in the best interest of anyone but a very small minority of players and of course PokerStar's immediate bottom line.

The biggest thing that needs to be addressed is definitely this:

"Rake is not clearly visible and instead hidden all the way down in the lobby, this feels like a scam."

Just about every single game on their site down to the way they pay out their rewards is so nontransparent to the players that they can just pull a bunch of "Superman 3" type moves to their prices without the majority of players really being aware of it.

You could argue this is on the players to notice but give me a break. It just seems scummy.

What if they just decide one day to raise the rake on Spin and Gos by lowering the frequency on some of the larger multipliers? Do you think the casual player is really going to notice? Or even regs might not notice if not informed by others cause how many of us really consistently check up on the rake prices hidden in the lobbies?

The same goes for many other games including MTTs. I had no idea they raised the rake of their lower buyin games a half a year back or so. Only until researching up on why the payouts up top were so low did I notice that the "Hot $16.50" now paid $1.80 in rake compared to it's former $1.50 price.

It shouldn't be this way. Put the rake prices in the main lobby, not in the structure tab, and when I go to register the tourney do not have something that says:

Your account will be charged: $16.50

but rather

Your account will be charged: $16.50 ($14.70+$1.80)

Yes , it's been like this now for the last 2 years. They want more recreational players, more casino players who wants to gamble away their money. They couldn't care less about the regs anymore.

I cashed out a year ago and only play at Party and Unibet now.

I hope this works. The info says the event will start with 5 players minimum & I think as soon as it starts, a bunch of those players who wanted to boycott it, will jump in because of the overlay.

What an epic fail. Don't know if stars got wind of it and lowered the guarantee? No overlay whatsoever.

So people should just do nothing about it cause you could "fail epic"?
This was a great idea and I'm sure that all the regs who prefered taking some edge instead of helping a good cause for the future are proud of themselves and have earned all the respect in the community.

Btw: guarantee wasnt lowered, but all the poker media wrote about it so it was kind of obv that some greedy shot takers will klick it because of softer field and potential of overlay

The epic fail was picking that event. Should have done it on a random high roller event during the week where it was shoe in to not hit the guarantee and actually get Stars to notice. I have no problems with the idea itself.

I read the last pages from this forum...but the main question is...where the fk is Luke? why nobody from Pokerstars answer to this thread? The community its so insignificant that u cant have some respect and answer to them for monts?

How is party running a similar event with 0 preperation or announcements and reaching a higher number an epic fail?

The only tourney I really enjoyed on the site which was essentially carried over from Fulltilt was the daily dollar rebuy. And sure enough stars canned it off the schedule today...

I joined Party this weekend and it was an amazing decision. They have live chat 24/7 if you need help with anything, etc. Really happy with the move!

Well i have bwin not party with old software which is quite disturbing when u multitable with making wrong decision or doesnt see sometimes the chips if somebody raises which makes me make min 3 bet .Indeed they are the best choice right now i need to put more money there so i can play the good value tournaments.

Stopped playing on Stars, to many changes in the wrong direction. I guess i will return when things improve (most likely when Amaya sells). The assumption made that Stars doesn't need regulars is wrong. Look at the SNG traffic. It's dead ~18 hours of the day at this moment. The only way to force improvement is to take your business to other sites.

So this cancer payout structure where PKO tournament 1st place is awarded 2x more than 2nd place(virtually making 1st place 4x more than 2nd place) just hit first tournaments in FR-ES-PT platform as well.

Guarantees are shrinking everywhere and they just seem dont give a ****. And that blatant lie that already almost non existent rakeback cuts will somehow increase MTT's guarantees is just astonishing.

I think just to withdraw my BR and short it on stars group would make more sense now.
