Goodbye Stars. The Million was the last thing keeping me there.

At least I won't have my brain numbed any more watching chests open.

Every single move in the last year has been in the wrong direction.

I told you to add the $11 and $16.5 HU and they've done very well, can we not get some more tournies?
+1

The fields of those HU tournaments are slowly getting bigger and bigger.

The schedule should have a lot more of them at least one every 2 hours & a daily HU-Zoom major with 5-10k starting stack.

I also think its time for a Zoom Poker Series maybe between Scoop and WCOOP. Most people dont have much time during summer to play poker. Such a series would be a great addition.

Hey Luke,

give me one good reason why you or your higher ups had to **** with the Sunday million?

It’s already hard enough to come 12th, 15th and 23rd in it out of 5,000~ players, now we’re supposed to navigate a 10,000+ player field every Sunday for what? 10% to first now?

Change it the **** back.

Next they'll buy the WSOP and make the Main a progressive knockout.

They wouldn't know an iconic asset if it fell in their lap ... oh wait!

Yep, definitely feel this myself.

Don't know why we only have the Saturday $22 when it does well every Saturday, can we not get some hu tournies in the $22-50 range more regularly? They don't even need to be massive guarantees.

the problem i see with SM 109 is that probably more then 200k will be taken out of FT and will be distributed 700-2300 and payouts will be smth like
100k for first
70k for #2
50k for #3
.
.
.
.
5k for #9

and every sunday will be less and less people playing... same happend with storm and payouts

@luke please dont take money out of FT and dont kill the dream

Dont forget also that since the runners would be 2x the tournament will last few hours more which means same/longer than marathon which ends for 14-16 hours on sunday ,gl on your focus after 20 hours session if u started with sunday kickoff.

It will be interessting to see which effect this will have on other $215 MTTs which are at a similar timeslot like the Sunday Warm-Up and $215 Battle Royale. I could see the $215 BRoyale becoming bigger than the Sunday Million in the future due to the popularity of PSKOs.

Its already bigger than the Warm-Up.

I'd love to see some type of analytics on how well regs did in 2018 at different formats. Ie how much did the average tier 1 reg profit in progs vs reg speeds etc. Have done some sharkscoping but would be curious if anyone has done anything more extensive or has player groups etc

Wouldnt doubt it that they change SM structure to induce more rebuys/take away edge/make it quicker to compensate larger amount of entries. Within a few weeks my inlking is that getting a 6 figure score outside of series will be a thing of the past. This camels back cant hold too many more straws!

My insider connections have told me the secret of getting SM cost reduced:

1. Higher rake percentage 9% vs 7.5% for Stars

2. Lesser cash withdrawl, as atleast 150K would be removed from FT, and the cash outs from Stars would go down, this is immediate demand from higher corporate bosses.

3. Lower min cash, means people play other tourneys and give more rake

To add to this, I played the $11 1.5k zoom and it's so nice to not have to commit to playing 6+ hours if you make a deep run, it was basically over in 2.5 hours.

Having far more zooms in the schedule allows many of us who don't want to or can't commit to these massive time commitments to be able to play more. In any case, there should obviously be some sort of zoom decent zoom tourny ($5+) every hour. There are so many fun variants not being tapped into:

9max PKO Zoom more than $3
PLO Zoom
PKO PLO Zoom
Different HU variants i.e smaller bounties with payouts or no bounties and just payouts
Small payouts and basically just bounty zooms

I can go on, it bothers me instead of making these small iterations and starting SMALL, say 50 people for PLOs, 100-200 for regular NL zooms and 100 for more expensive hu ($30-50) that Stars doesn't at least offer something. Again, so much of the schedule is just redundant, try something new and if you are worried about cannibalization, start it SMALL, 50-100 people is hardly some massive amount.

For some of us, this would mean we could play 2-3x more volume on Stars and thus any cannibalization that happens would be EASILY balanced by other people who can now play more considering at worst zooms take 2.5-3 hours in small fields and on average honestly take like 30 minutes to finish.

Just play and promote party/bwin to your friends to help them grow and upgrade their software. Its just ridicilious how they can offer from 150% to 50% less rake on their tourneys and sitgoes, its like going to buy a bread from shop wheres its price is 2.00 but not from the shop wheres 1.30 and the only different thing is the package.

I do not count rakeback that much but seeing 550 points for red,1250 for blue and 3500 for bronze chest is joke and wants me to quit this corporate shet and give me some promo for 50 cents to 1$ for playing 10nl or more in which i pay 2-3x rake than they give me out of promo.

So plus 780k on rake + 4,6 MM per year they cut on the final table prize pool, where there's the biggest cashouts. Not a bad deal Amaya, not bad. Some new strategies to squeeze out some money of the most known tournament.

You are a Newbie so im going to be nice.... There was once a time, where you could play HU MTTs every other hour on Stars.

Ofc, they scratched these Tournaments out of the schedule because only regs where winning in them. The ones right now are so bad compared to the Hyper Hu Mtts they once had, i wouldn't even bother to play them.

Your welcome

Ive played both and won both of them multiple times and the ones right now are way way more profitable than those hyperturbo HUs or "Winner takes it all" HU tournaments back in the past.

Also they are a lot less time consuming since you dont have to wait till everyone is finished with their round.

When they are way way more profitable for you then others will lose money very quickly in them and you bascically give stars a reason not to implement even more of them. They want the money to remain on the site and eaten by rakeback and not to be won by you all the time.

I dont think anyone is losing money on them quickly since those MTTs are full-kos and even the worst players collect bountys here and there. While in normal tournaments very bad players rarely reach itm (even with the new payout structure).
