Hey all,

• Daylight Savings goes into effect on Sunday for PokerStars servers. This means that for most of our European players, tournaments will begin one hour earlier for approximately two weeks. For more information, click here.
• Early Payouts will be rolled out to the Hots, Bounty Builders, and Majors from Monday. The progressive rollout is meant to identify any issues with the functionality and allow Support to adjust to the types of queries and complaints they receive. If we don't run into any issues here, we'll roll it out across the site. Additionally, I believe the functionality will be live in .IT soon, as well as .DESH and .EE on the global site.
• High Rollers begins next Sunday, March 18th! Spin & Go satellites will begin this coming Monday. They'll be $25 and have tiers of $50, $109 ticket, $215 ticket, $1,050 ticket, and $2,100 Main Event entry. Good luck!

I don't think High Rollers will ever be some type of record-breaking bonanza, but more of a boutique Series. We'll iterate on it just as we do with the *COOPs, and hopefully players will continue to enjoy it.

Shootouts are so damn hard to plan around. In this instance, I thought that it was likely we'd have more players, meaning it was planned so that even though it might be heads-up, most everyone would have to play in the first round. Unfortunately, it didn't pan out that way. I think in order to run it weekly, it would have to be a $1.10 buy-in or thereabouts, and the variance in field sizes would result in a number of possible player experiences, which could upset players and lead to an unpopular tournament.

We don't get it right every time, but I need a bit more than this in order to improve it for next time.

It overlaid four out of seven times it ran in 2018 for a total of $25K. This was not a recent trend, either!

The results last time around in the Hyper/Turbo tournaments were actually some of the strongest in the Series, so while I understand and appreciate your feedback, I think the majority of players are likely OK with having a turbo at the end of each day. As for your suggestion about a progressive structure, the Turbos have 6-minute levels, followed by 8-minute levels at the final two tables, so I think that box is ticked.

Any feedback on the structures in general?

The last thing I wanted to mention relevant to High Rollers players is that the difference between ET and CET will only be five hours from the 18th-24th. This is why the start times are different on the final two days of the Series.

I think this would likely cannibalize traffic from the Big $22 and $11 Bounty Builder if it ran daily. Weekly is probably the sweet spot.

Just wondering is there any option to make the 'Don't show me this again' option actually work when I get Ko'd from the triple threat or other Zoom tournament. I tick that box every time, and it still somehow pops up EVERY ****NG TIME I get knocked out! k thanks

Hey Luke, for SCOOP I would love to see:

-NL 2-7 Single Draw
-FL 2-7 Triple Draw
-PL Badugi
-NL 5-card Draw
-FL O8
-PL O8
-2+ Eight-Game MTT's
-2+ HORSE MTT's
-Leaderboards for different levels (L, M, H)

All these games are better when played as vanilla as possible IMO, but if you're going to make any of them PKO, NL 2-7 is probably the best candidate.

For Scoop I recommend that awkward zoom or turbo event that runs after the main event be a charity tourney with the rake going to charity.

pls keep the "SCOOP" title for the series. "turbo series" was a pretty lame name and very underwhelming.

Like to see a big change on fridays and saturdays (EST Time) during SCOOP with more NLH events. In the past it has been turbos/shootouts and mixed games. There is a big market to add some vanilla mtts in there as well.

Just wanted to say I ended up playing about 10 turbo series events and choose to play a much smaller live series where i’m From instead, because of the fact that there was no leaderboard... if there had been a leaderboard I would have skipped the live series and played almost all of the turbo series. Food for thought when it comes to SCOOP Luke.

If you win a seat in the only scheduled satellite for the $215 NLO8 Supersonic, you are thrown in with 10 big blinds.

Its at least 30 mins too late with that structure.

luke, don't understand why even after so many requests we are not having leaderboard, with big prizes.. other cost-cuttings i understand, but this expenditure will pay for itself. you have been a player yourself, i am sure you understand how motivating it is to have such leaderboards.

Instead of removing the $11 Payday, cant you just change it? We need to have a phase tournament in the schedule! Try making it $5.50 or $22 and rename it, change structure?

Hi Luke, pls bring back leaderboards. Monthly tournament leaderboard and one for each coop series pls. Having played for over a decade on stars, I can assure you leaderboards have always been incentivising to tournament players. It’s inspiring to be able to climb a leaderboard and track one’s progress with some decent prizes at the end of the tunnel. Pls reconsider it mate. Thanks

Not too sure about that, even though it's in the same buy-in range I could never play B22 or BB11 during the week since they just run too long and I have to get up for work next day. Oh well, I guess I'll have to look at your competitors then

I did save the log files immediately and sent it to the support but I got the standard troubleshoot reply (asking for my network status report etc). Last year before the scoop I had this exact issue and I had sent you the log files to your personal mail id (4/4/2017). Interestingly both the time (this year and last year) mtts which failed to pop up automatically were the satellites only.

Good time to bump that idea now that we have one less sunday major tourney in the schedule?

Leaderboards with L/M/H & overall prizes
The Non/NLH leaderboard for wcoop was a great idea - Gets many players playing events they might not have otherwise.

Can we get some PSPC Plat Passes in the leaderboards!

More turbo's, last event of every day is always nice if it's of the quicker variety (Hyper, turbo, semi-turbo, variable levels) Something to help keep the days from being too long.


After watching the Turbo series #65 8-Game FT replay - I believe 2 players were colluding - There are many very suspicious hands played between the 2.
