Luke, you might find a little less hostility ITT if you acted with a little more humility instead of coming off like a smug cvnt.
Surely you know that posting the MM sched 3 days before its start date is a slap in the face to all your micro grinders. Why couldn't you just say "sorry I know this isn't ideal but it was out of my hands"

Because he doesn't give a ****, if he did, he would post what you said but he's just happy accepting payment at the end of each month for not making any tourney overlay regardless of how many runners it gets. The fact that he jokes about absence making the heart grow fonder says everything you need to know. Every other Stars rep posts regularly but Luke can't be arsed.

I very recently came back to poker after not having played for the past 10 mths and previously Pokerstars has always been my no.1 place to play. After having logged back into the client and checking out the MTT schedule, I have to say that may no longer be the case.

Where have all the regular MTT's gone? It's like the core of the poker heart has been ripped out and replaced with a jumble of things that takes away from sitting down against opponents and battling it out in a true sense of good old fashioned poker.

Just about every MTT seems to be a Progressive KO or a bounty builder (no idea why they have different names as, they seem like pretty much the same thing to me) and what's with the antes right from the start?!
Why dilute the BIGS, HOTS etc...into multiple every hour events with small prize pools? You've taken away the prestige of the event and also my looking forward to the one time of the day I could play in a decent MTT with a decent prize pool.

I much preferred the old schedule where there was more chance to simply buy-in once, battle it out and see how good you really were in comparison to your opponents. Now it seems like each tourney is simply a crap-shoot or luck-fest or whatever you want to name it and personally for me, it's not the same playing on Pokerstars anymore.

I guess Pokerstars could say that, your moving with the times and we need to simply adapt to these MTT's. Adapting to a donk-fest style of play is one thing but, I don't see the current WSOP MTT schedule moving with the times and looking like the Pokerstars MTT schedule. I personally think that the only time Pokerstars is moving to is away from everyone else in there own little world.

I've noticed that in the last week or so that i've been back playing, i'm playing less on Pokerstars and more on another site that has a regular schedule with more oppourtunity to play properly. I'm doing well in those regular MTT's too, in comparison to Pokerstars so, where do you think it's likely i'm going to spend my money and provide more rake?

I was looking forward to the MM events and the chance to see a schedule that might provide more regular play MTT's in it like previously run events but, I now doubt that's likely. No doubt they will all be replaced and there's now less chance of my playing in many, if not any events.
Inserting the event schedule into the client only a couple of days before the series starts, is also pretty poor in my opinion for many numerous reasons.

Overall, an unpleasant return to Pokerstars in it's current form (not to mention all the tech issues as well) and i'm left as one dissatisfied customer, who may now be playing a lot more elsewhere instead.

I think until the future of amaya itself is clear - there's not really going to be much positive happening, they will continue to squeeze as many $$ as possible until the takeover happens, nothing guaranteed after that too if it lands in wrong hands again

Why all blue MTTs in low stakes starting too early/late? Such as: $11 Mini Monday 6-Max, $11 Mini Battle Royale, $11 Mini Fast Friday, $11 Mini Saturday KO, $11 Mini Sunday Starting, $11 Mini Sunday Wrap-Up. All of them are starting at 12:00 or 02:00 CET. All of those new good MTTs are starting too ealry or too late for european players. I'm registering in MTTs between 20:00-01:00 CET, so I can't play them. Can you make half of them playable for us, european players please? Or just add 3rd MTT (you have early and late edition) starting at 20:00-22:00 CET. High stakes has a very good schedule, but micro and low stakes is lack of MTTs, at least for EU players (even mid stakes not so good). So please, add more MTTs for us or just fix the starting time.

I always did think the above was correct. It should be:

Micro - $1
MAIN - $109
Mini - $11

In that order of time (not specifically those buyins). I assume the Micro events ended up after the mini events just due to logical ordering, but that doesn't mean it needs to be that way.

+infinity

Definitely agree with the Bigs/Hots always being "prestigious" to go deep in one since only one big/Hot of each buyin ran per day on the old schedule. Clearly the new schedule was designed to lower regs' ROI and allow recs less opportunities to hit a large score with the payout structures. The former has definitely hit me and many others I know hard since the changes and I've been forced to move most of my roll to 888 and Party.

Only other comment I have.

Blue Tourneys - Excellent
Everything Else - ****

It's interesting to me.

Before the schedule was changed, the common complaint was that there was nothing interesting to play on many days. Your average weekday only had a few big games and for a lot of players that wasn't enough.

So for the schedule changes, major weekly events were added for every day and for multiple time zones. There were also more Bigs and Hots added across the day so that there weren't so many large gaps in the day with no interesting tournaments and so other time zones had a chance to play tournaments they might not get to play.

The result? People complain there are too many... It's an intellectual curiosity to me, and frankly I don't fully understand.

Different people complain about different things. I believe that having multiple buyins of the same "Big" is not the best, that there should be less PKOs and the overall distribution of the buyins could be better. Having two or three posts complain about too many MTTs doesn't mean "people complain there are too many".
