  • If you do not already have one, create a Winamax account.

  • Confirm your password in the pop-up window.·

Tournament structure

• No Limit Hold'em, full ring, buy-in of €5.
• Starting stack: 10,000 chips; levels speed: 3 minutes.

We are aware that the problem is persisting, the trouble is that it is proving difficult to fix this problem as it only occurs for those connecting from foreign locations (makes it troublesome to find the problem and then correct it).

In the mean-time, you can access all the same information (and more) by logging in directly to the Winamax.fr/en website rather than through the software.

That being said, we do hope to get this software problem fixed asap.

Can you confirm whether you have reinstalled the software yet or not?

Just registered with them, any advices on what to expect from Winamax? Both good and bad aspects, please. Can I withdraw on my card (used for deposits, of course)? Haven't played on an Eu site in a looong time.

Hello,

If you download our software from the English website, you will download our EU client.

Please note that in my previous post I was referring to the actual website, not the no-download browser version of our software.

Miles can take several hours to update. I cannot give you an exact time period.

Glad to hear you've signed up with us. Always great to find new recruits!

You can deposit by credit card, however all cash outs are processed by wire transfer directly to the bank account you register with us. I'm afraid we don't offer any alternative cash out method.

Was playing multiple tables today and a few tables just disconnected while others we're still going on. From what I've seen in chat this affected a lot of players.

What was wrong with your site and how are you going to solve this?

Also +1 that the "unauthorized" problem still exists for almost a week now.

Today was ridicolous, was playing around 20 SNG's DoN (20, 30, 50 and 100€) and the server started failing I guess.. Tables were disappearing, it said reconnect but it didn't, and new (empty) tables kept opening.. I have never experienced anything like that in my 3 years of professional poker. This took well over 10-15 minutes.

I could actually HEAR other players folding/raising, but I couldnt do anything.

Who do I need to speak to for compensation? I lost a substantial amount of money.

I had the same issue as card core and NoFoldPlease.

I was 12-tabling micro limits double or nothing 10max semi-turbo Some tables "lost connection" and others were ok. So my internet was ok. I clicked to reconnect but it didnt help and tables doubled and still did not reconnected. So I restarted the client and tables open (but not all of them). I was shocked when I was playing last 2 tables and in that time another table open..where blinds were high and I was almost out of game. Of course finally I lost that game..and some others because of your problems with client. But I dont understand, that after client was restarted....(maybe 10 minutes later)...table was running in the background and I didnt know about it...and was reconnected to that table too late.

You should refund us some buyins. I am a new player at your site but I was very disappointed yesterday.

Hi everyone,

Really sorry to hear that some of you were affected by the problems last night.

Our technical team have since discovered that the problem originated from an intermediary network between certain internet service providers and our servers.

It is worth noting that this issue was completely beyond our control and not our responsibility.

That being said, we want to make sure our customers are happy. Therefore, if you contact the support team giving precise details of the tournaments you were playing at the time of the incident, they will investigate and potentially reimburse you.

I have to apologise in advance for any delay in receiving an answer from support as there is obviously a large amount of emails coming in due to the incident.

'Check or Fold' hotkey doesnt works properly. It never checks, just folding every time.

Just want to let everybody know here, Winamax did not refund ANYTHING. Emailing back and forth got me nowhere.

My first email was answered by: We can't refund you because you only sat out on these 3 tables, but you won them. Than I explained I couldn't pay attention to game flow, other players actions, had to push much quicker because I was scared it would disconnect again any second (massive negative equity), in all the other games I lost.

Than in the second email it changed to: it's not our responsibility, meaning you would never be refunded. Seems legit.

Funny how 'íts not their responsibility', but in my 3 proffesional poker years online I have never experienced anything like this, and I just started 4 weeks on Winamax..

If you're looking for stability, and even the slightest help when they screw up, do not play here. Also, it's been over 3 weeks now and still can't properly see my Miles status, shop etc from within the client.

Very, very VERY dissapointed.

I am sure that this situation must be very frustrating and it is for us as well.

Please understand that as I have explained in my original post on this subject, the incident was no fault of ours and we are just as unhappy as you.

Therefore any reimbursement offered is done so at our discretion and only as a gesture of goodwill.

Could you please tell me your table name on Winamax (PM if you prefer) so I can double check how your case has been handled?

I've never had any comparable problems, and I've been playing online poker for years over several sites. Never had problems with my internet connection as well.

If there can nothing be done on either your or my part regarding these disconnections and you're not even refunding, I will instantly quit playing your site as I'm obviously always in fear of loosing tons of equity in game.

Hi card core,

As I said in my first post, an intermediary network between certain ISPs and our servers experienced a technical incident which caused players to lose their connection.

This is an extremely rare occurance and is not to be confused with incidents caused by problems with our servers.

If a failure from our network causes players to be disconnected then all players affected are reimbursed according to our terms and conditions.

Please note that even though this incident is not our fault, we are still refunding the majority of cases where a player has been absent for an extended period of time.

If you have not done so already, I suggest you contact customer support who can investigate your case properly.
