So, can all accounts non French use the Skrill option for withdrawals ? Is this new or only applies to this specific case ?

Is there a list somewhere where I can see what countries are eligible to play on Winamax? Thanks

Because I think that's a requirement for all licensed operators in France.
Interesting thing about Ukraine — we have few banks here which operate with IBAN accounts. As a result, we were eligible to open accounts and receive payments, not actually being part of EU.

At the moment I have verified my Skrill account with Winamax and already received a cashout.

As far as I know, this applies for everyone from Ukraine. However, maybe this is possible for non-regulated markets only.

It's sort of weird that it works for you guys and not for Austrian residents. Not any of my AU friends have that option either

Ireland and UK banned. Netherlands is fine last time I asked. Very surprised it's banned in Malta thought it was fine for there?
Re Ukraine that's most likely an oversight unless Hood says otherwise.

And you can add all the Scandinavian countries to that list. All you need is a bank account.

Hello,

This is the only winamax thread I see with a winamax rep actively responding to every question so I will use this thread to write about my situation, hoping you can help me to solve my problem since Winamax support is ignoring my emails for a while.

About six weeks ago my account was closed because I was not receiving any letter (validation letter) and meanwhile I was waiting for the letter Winamax closed operations on Switzerland where I was based.
During that time I was always in contact with your support by email because I was really stressed out with all that situation because I have a really meaningful amount of money on Winamax and they told me that if my account was closed I had two options, having all my funds cashed out when the account was closed or receiving all my funds back on a new account after finishing all the validation processes.
I picked the second option because I was really interested on keeping some funds at Winamax to be back on play soon.

So I created a new account, your support approved all my documents one more time and I finally received my validation letter 1 week ago (now in France) and I successfully completed the account verification process.
I immediately asked for my funds as we agreed on all the email exchanges, I sent an email to one of the Winamax representatives I was communicating during all the process and another email to Winamax support.
I am waiting for a response from Winamax since that day and I really need my money back, so please help me solving this question quickly.

I can pm you all the information needed if that helps (screenname, full name, show the emails or give the names of the reps I talked, etc)

Hello,

since my e-mails are being ignored by winamax support i will post it here.

Winamax is taking some money out of most of its bigger guarantee MTT's and awarding it as 150 euro tournament tickets to top finishers. I had no problem with it, as winamax support used to exchange these tickets to multiple tickets of lower value. However it doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I think winamax is very unfair to lower stake players, who play 5-20 euro tournaments, to force them to register 150 euro tournaments and essentially rob them, since they're playing for cash prizes and not qualifiers to other tournaments, in which these players will most likely be -ev.

Winamax should stop giving out pieces of prizepool as tickets to other tournaments or at very least keep the option to convert the tickets to lower value ones, if player asks for it.

You can disagree with it, but it's not unfair. This is standard practice, clear in the payouts and there's nothing sneaky going on. You can choose not to register if you don't like it.

I also find it hard to imagine anyone who is +EV in a 20€ tournament isn't +EV in the weekly 150€, and people who aren't even +EV in the 5€ tournaments will likely get excited by the opportunity to play a 150€ buyin. I'm also fairly confident in winamax that if this happens to someone and they're really upset about it (e.g. they're new to the site and didn't know) then support will help them out one time.

Well if it is exciting than it is ok hmm?

Spoiler:
It's just too much money in term of ABIs going there. I wouldnt mind if they implement it on BI 20+ or smt. And playing abi 10-15 and weekly 150 can hurt you a lot in the long run since you are not sure that you are profitable + even if you are you wont get the volume and 10 buyins weekly is a lot. Not affected personally, just sayin.

There are couple of lame things. Breaks. Blind levels in deeps (bb12k/16/20 is pretty abysimal),those tickets. Overall B+

Winamax think they can do whatever they want since thay have 95% of the French market. They dont have to listen to players, as long as they earn millions. Well you will lose customers outside France for sure.

lol no they won't lose any customers.

Winamax is probably the best site out there, at least for mtts. Not sure where you are coming from with this statement.

You're misrepresenting my argument. I'm not claiming they're doing anything "sneaky" or are unclear in their payout policy. What, in my opinion, is unfair is their practice to award part of prize-pool as tickets. And part of that, which is really unfair, is that they're effectively taking part of that €150 ticket (rake), and it is never spread to players. I don't think "others do it so it's ok" logic is valid.

The only players that are benefiting from this are €150 tournament regs, who never play those €5, €10 MTT's.

The €150 Main Event is a flighted tournament with a pretty low guarantee, so it's not hard to imagine how a low stakes player can be -EV in it. When you're playing your normal session of 9-12 tables and have to split your decisions to 2 completely different player pools it can get even more -EV.

The €5 player, who is excited by the opportunity to play a 150€ buy-in, can still buy-in into it with 150€ cash AND also have the option to play other tournaments, cash, spin and go's, do sports betting or cash it out if he wants to.

But why only one time? I don't think anyone would have a problem with this practice if winamax agreed to exchange these tickets to lower value ones, if player asked for it. However they stopped doing this.

I understand that winamax wants to promote it's main event, but i don't think it has to come with a price of making some of their players unhappy.

I can confirm this , they don't care about their foreign players. Just before the Winamax series started I transfered from my registered bank account €100 and when the money arrived into the account I tried to use the bonus code WSERIES21 but I only got an error message, and no bonus and no freeroll tickets as was promised in the promotion.

Then I send an e-mail to the only address available, but no replies ! I sent them 1 mail, 2 mails, 3 mails , just no replies , nothing. It's shocking how they treat their customers and needless to say this will be my last time. I have options to play on Pokerstars and 888 , so I dont need them but sad really, it could have been a lot better for everyone. Shame on you Winamax!

Hello,

Please note that our support team is currently dealing with a large number of enquiries. We therefore offer our apologies for the delay in responding to your enquiry on this occasion.

However, as stated in our email on April 4th, our first deposit bonus is only granted once per player and not once per account. As you already received this bonus on an account with us closed in 2014, you are unfortunately no longer eligible for this particular offer on your current Winamax account.

In regards to your WSeries XXI reload bonus, we can inform you that this bonus as well as the appropriate WSeries Freeroll tickets have been attributed to your current account after your last deposit.

Kind regards,
Steve

Hello,

In order for us to offer you further assistance on this matter, we kindly ask you to provide your Winamax table name or your registered email address.

Please note that upon depositing money via regular bank transfer, the WSeries XXI reload bonus needs to be attributed manually to your account.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Kind regards,
Steve

hi deviate7,
is there a reason why there has to be up to 8 tournaments starting at the same time (20:00 CET) during every winamax series? Even grinders miss one or two tourneys because its simply too much in a short period of time!

Why not add 19:00 and 21:00 to start some of them?
