We're launching a new MTT schedule on Unibet Poker tomorrow (Monday 2nd October) so I thought I'd start a dedicated thread here.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_q...ew?usp=sharing

We've neglected our MTT offering for a number of years but finally feel that we are launching something competitive in this area and will have flagship Sunday MTTs for the first time since going standalone. The highlights of the new schedule:

- Two new blind structures which offer much smoother transition between levels and antes from level 1
- Six flagship Sunday MTTs ranging from €5 to €100 buyin, the largest being the €20,000 Supernova (€100 freezeout)
- A better flow to our schedule than previously, meaning that whatever your buyin level you should be able to find tournaments at similar starting times which allow you to multi-table effectively
- Much higher GTDs in our daily primetime schedule (17:00 - 23:00 CEST)
- Aggressively raising guarantees in future whenever possible
- A space theme

I appreciate that a lot of MTT players never had a good reason to try Unibet out before and I hope that we can begin to change that now. I'd say we're more receptive to player feedback than any other poker site and will continue to optimise the schedule based on that feedback. We're also still small enough that our bigger tourneys don't require you to beat more than a few hundred players to end up in 1st place and won't require you to grind all night.

Oh, and you can earn free cash game tickets this month if you are playing MTTs on our site:

https://www.unibet.com/promotions/po...ving-on-up-mtt

We'll be taking feedback here but also feel free to get directly involved in our community site threads:

https://www.unibetcommunity.com/t5/G.../111195#M19159

We also made a small mistake in setting up the new schedule, putting one of the smaller Sunday Majors in the client a week early. The €2,000 Nebula (€5 turbo rebuy) is currently in the client with 25 entrants and begins in less than 30 mins so there'll be a decent overlay there.

sounds good, will def give it a shot. still sad about the split from the microgaming network though, you guys had such a great network back then.

I've been playing on Unibet for the past few years and I personally agree with David's comment that Unibet genuinely engages with their customers and listens to feedback to make the site better.

Now that their MTT offerings are being expanded it would make a lot of sense for more players to jump aboard and help support a site that is genuinely trying to take care of its players and not nickel and dime them at every opportunity.

Just glanced at the structure for "Nebula" and I think the structure is great but the error is that late registration should be cut off at level 10 and not 15.

This will create more rebuys as players will have to play more prior to the add-on and it will prevent sharp players from late regging at the last second to take advantage of the add-on. The types of players that do this are often winning players who win because they take advantage of these types of offerings.

Ill be trying some of these.Any reason why the majority of your biggest gtds are 6 max?Not ideal for multi siters who are wanting to add ur site to their schedule.Maybe your not after these players?

Lunchtime i might of tried offer a tournament with a bigger gtd so there is more traffic earlier on.

I see there are alot of deep tournaments.Ive never played any of these on your site.Im interested whats the average length of these?I just dont wanna play tournaments that are too long for small prizepools.

Gl, i like the look of the schedule so far.

At a quick glance looks really really awesome. Will give some more specific feedback once I've played a few sessions, but I'm excited to grind that schedule. Good job!

Not sure if you've noticed but there's "estimated duration" column where the values seem reasonable. For example 6 hours for 100 person deepstack seems possible.

Cool schedule! Too bad i'm banned from Unibet since 2007, so I can't play there, but cool nevertheless

Unfortunately it was unavoidable if we wanted to remain viable. Being part of a network and having policies and promotions dictated to us which we didn't agree with just wasn't possible to continue with.

Thanks for the kind words and agree re: the Nebula, the structure was setup incorrectly (by me). Not only should late reg have ended at level 10 but I assigned the wrong fee to the buyin (€0.50 instead of €0.30) and we might increase the starting stack as this one played so shallow.

We're going to credit everyone who played the tournament and didn't cash last night with a free ticket for the Nebula this Sunday which should be a much better experience.

It's a work in progress so everything is subject to change based on feedback. We went with more 6 max than 9 max tourneys as that was what the majority of our players have requested but I would like to add/convert more 9 max MTTs over time.

There are two primary goals with the new schedule btw: give our current players a more enjoyable MTT schedule and create something attractive for MTT players who currently play elsewhere. We definitely want to make ourselves more attractive to those players.

Regarding duration of tournaments, there is an estimated duration column in the file linked above. The estimate is calculated by expected number of runners (based on the guarantee) and should give a fairly accurate indication. Some of the estimates might be outdated but I will update ASAP.

Attempting to register but not seeing Costa Rica as a country option. Is this deliberate? Seems like you have most every other country including other countries in the region here plus I've never heard of Costa Rica excluding itself from any gambling network.

I've asked security team here and it seems that we don't accept players from Costa Rica. I don't have a clear explanation yet so will do some more digging, will pm you if it seems the situation will change.

Alias - meluvraffles

Played last night - Loving the new mtts!

Obviously small sample size, but the antes from the start seemed to have the effect of more action in the earlier blind levels.

With more gtd mtts available now I feel like if I bust out of the main mtts I can add others to still have a chance to book a win/breakeven for the night.

Looking forward to the Sunday Supernova...

Hey Dave,

Great schedule excited to try out some mtt's on unibet in the near future.

Just a question, i remember getting some e-mails that my balance would be reducted by 5 euro because my account was inactive or something, why is this? I for one am a player who could randomly vanish for 6 months and then get into the zone again to play poker, kinda sucks that i have to keep track and cash/out splash away my money when i get a poker burnout.

Btw I won a UK tour package, what am I supposed to do with the 500€ ticket in the client? I can't reg anything with it and it says it's expiring in two weeks. I haven't received any sort of email and it's been 5 days now. I can't find any email address but a Finnish non-poker one and they haven't responded to my email.

It's not urgent otherwise but the ticket says it expires soon and I think I should have received some sort of traveling € also that I haven't received yet. I also don't want to be auto-put into the Brighton event as I won't be able to make it to that one so I'd need to talk to someone about how to arrange using the ticket. If you can give me an email address to whoever organizes these I'll be happy to just email them myself and sort it out. Thanks!
