Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

The original was basically meant to say "if you win two through the same satellites, you don't get anything for the second". That's how it was before I joined.

To an extent, it's understandable, particularly in our current system. I'd prefer that as many people went as possible to the live event, and I'd prefer that some of our weaker players had more chances to go.

But the tension in that goal vs. the goal of not making people unhappy means that I'd prefer to move the fulcrum to where we let people have two packages as often as possible. There'll definitely come a point where someone has 6 packages queued up or something and we'll just have to say "OK, enough".

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

In satellite descriptions, where it says e.g. "Qualifier to the $450 Multibuy Holdem", could you make it also say when the target tournament takes place?

Still waiting for the rebuys

Although I know you have problem with your current software, this should be your number 1 priority for MTTs. It would deal up with your satellite program (non-existent) and guaranteeds (non-impressive). And as 2nd priority you should get your O8 (tournaments) working, as you're only currently having as only real competitor is WitheringStars. But with Winamax has just requested French license authorative to allow them to offer that as well... your time is going up short.

Don't re-entries exist already?

This is not the thread to discuss it probably but zoom tournaments would really set it on fire as you would get to play a decent stack depth without the crazy time commitment.

I saw what looked like a rebuy MTT last night in the lobby but it was restricted one for a 3rd party website. The description said they could re-enter for an hour

There has been no confirmation whether PLO 5C or PLO8 is going to be added to the client and it looks like the priority is fixing the graphics bugs for a number of users so I wouldn't expect to see either in the next few months.

You can 'multi-buy' just now giving you multiple stacks on entry but no rebuys or re-entries as yet.

They had a zoom variant before but it was before my time and I don't know if it made the MTT lobby. Andrew has mentioned before it might return in an updated fashion but I would think it's as far down the list as the games mentioned above.

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

I think there was a 25 euro tournament around Christmas that asked me if I wanted to re-enter. Dropped down stakes since then

If they are offering it for a third party they have the capability - they just don't want to flood the lobby with the "jam and re-pay" tournaments that have swamped the MTT offer at other sites. Though a couple more wouldn't bother me.

I think he mentioned that zoom MTT might come before zoom cash - the former not requiring a lobby redesign. Also MTTs are great, they are like poker on the telly - the trouble is that either they are a big time commitment.

Speaking of the time commitment how about a tournament on Mon-Thur called the "Bedtime tournament"? It runs normally with 10 minute levels so everyone gets lots of play but at 11:20 CET it changes to 5 minute levels then at 11:50 to 1 minute levels. The idea being it's aimed at people who need to be in bed by midnight when they have work the next day so don't want an open-ended time commitment like a normal tournament.

There are rebuys, but you can only rebuy if you go broke.

I don't want to mess with the tourney schedule when there are other problems. And I CERTAINLY don't want to put true rebuys on the development schedule while we have so many other problems. It'd be very dumb of me to do so, given what we needed to fix in December.

That said, rebuys are going to be in for the late Jan release. If all goes well with testing, we'll alter the tourney schedule somewhat.

Very excited about this.. as it should add a lot more channels to open up in regards to satellites.

Any news or plans about a live MTT event in Belgium in 2017?
Ranging about €500 buy in just like Blankenberge last year?

There's gonna be a €550 Belgium Championship in Blankenberge in September 2017.

Just wanted to mention that there's still a problem of sniping in UO satellites. I played a 10euro reg speed 2 days ago and late reg was far too long considering player turnout. Adjustments need to be made.

I was in that one and noticed the problem. More or less the same thing happened in the 9pm game last night. I think some people regged about 2 minutes before the bubble burst and were almost guaranteed to get at least a refund, as there was a low turnout (16 entrants, 7 got paid according to my spreadsheet). Not that I cared much about the snipers this time. I somehow had about 87bb on the bubble, so cruised to victory.

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

Time to dust off the cobwebs, I'd like to revive this thread as we're planning to make some changes to the MTT schedule in October.

The general plan is to add some MTTs with more competitive prizepools around peak hours but would like to get feedback on what you would like to see added/changed. I'd also like to beef up our Sunday schedule a bit, any ideas more than welcome!

- Change Bullets to 2k starting chips.

I get the idea that they're supposed to be fast but starting with 75bb seems silly. If it's going to add an hour on to playing time then just shorten the rebuy period or chop a minute off the levels.

- Change the weekend afternoon schedule.

I have no idea what the numbers are like on a Sat/Sun afternoon but the schedule is pretty grim unless you want to play €1-2 MTTs. Doesn't really matter what the games are just some different buy in levels. There is a period between about 12PM and 3PM where there is a single €4 (12:00 which is 3x multibuy with 1k starting chips, and has a €12 re-entry option?) and 2x €10 (one being an Ante MTT which has always been a strange format to me). I would think on a Sunday at least there could be some more tourneys in at these levels and possibly a €25.

- Have the sats pay out less but give out bigger tickets for the same qualifying tree.

Currently the sats can pay out, using the €10 SE as an example, 1x Sunday Entitled ticket and 8x €10 rebates. I think it would be better if this became 3x 25 SE sat tickets as they can then be used straight away in the €25 LC or in a regular sats. People would complain if the min cash in a normal MTT was your buy-in back so I'm doing it for the sats

- Rename the €4 Early Bounty

It's at 7PM UK time, that's not early It's also after the €4 Bounty Deepstack so it's not even the first bounty of the evening.

Unrelated to the schedule specifically there are two thoughts that have been discussed in the Twitch streams :-

- Possibility of changing UO qualifying tree to 1/4/20/100/500/2.5k package (Or some similar numbers for steps)

The change to a 2.5k package (adding extra expenses) would make it easier for players trying to get to UOs from awkward travel spots and also help players cover flights/dinner for their guest. It also keeps the number of players qualifying at each level in the 1 in 4 or 5 range instead of the big final jump just now.

This can also then have a 1 in 7/8 turbo path something along 1/7/50/325/2.5k.

- Possibility of changing regular MTT buy in levels to allow for shallower jumps in stake.

1/2/4/8/16/32/64 or 1/3/5/8/15/30/55 for example. It's maybe not as much of a problem at the lowest levels but the lack of levels between 10-50 makes for a sharp jump in stakes if you're trying to follow BRM. It also limits the ability to run Sunday majors for example when you only have a few levels to run them at. A €32 Sunday major with an €8 or €4 sat would be something I would be likely to play.

Anyway, just some ideas to get people's creative juices going. It would be a massive ballache changing all the existing tickets and redesigning the bonus shop etc. but I think it's something to consider going forward in order to create a meatier MTT schedule.

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

I mainly play the €4 tournaments and an occasional €10 tournament. But the jump to the €25 is too big for my bankroll.

Why not create qualifiers that award €25 generic tickets? With a €5 buyin I'm pretty sure a lot of people would play these. This means more players in the bigger tournaments to create bigger prizepools, to attract more players and so on...

And from the previous post I really like the idea about changing the qualifying tree (and higher value) for the UO's:
1 / 4 (or 5) / 20 (or 25) / 100 / 500 / 2.5k UO pack

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

A 25 euro tournament with a later start (maybe 22:30/23:00) would be good because after 21:30 CET there is just a load of satellite rubbish I'm not interested in playing until the problems with satellites are sorted out.

Also a mid-evening MTT in the 50-100 euro buy in range would be nice. Could have a small guarantee like only 2x or 3x the entry fee. The main aim being to service the people who reg the big SNGs at this time then dereg when they don't run. At least an MTT would run even if it was just a small thing.

Also if you are looking into fixing the satellites then please dream big and move away from what the other sites are doing (i.e. copying live super satellites). Like I said in the other thread - if there are five top prizes available and someone has more than a fifth of the chips, just take them out the tournament and give them the ticket. That way you fix both the late reg and the satellite snipers at the same time.

6:00pm - 1k gtd Freezeout e10 3k stack 10m blinds
6:00pm - 200 gtd Freezeout e2 3k stack 10m blinds

7:00pm - 3k gtd Deep 1r+1a e25 7k stack 12m blinds
7:00pm - 600 gtd Deep 1r+1a e5 7k stack 12m blinds

8:00pm - 1.5k gtd Multi-Rebuys e10 3k stack 10m blinds
8:00pm - 300 gtd Multi-Rebuys e2 3k stack 10m blinds

9:00pm - 2k gtd Bounty 50% e25 5k stack 10m blinds
9:00pm - 400 gtd Bounty 50% e5 5k stack 10m blinds

10:00pm - 1k gtd Super Turbo 2 rebuys e10 10k stack 3m blinds
10:00pm - 200 gtd Super Turbo 2 rebuys e2 10k stack 3m blinds

Give the lower buyin players the same format to play for less and they might feel more comfortable playing the higher buyins down the road.

- antes from level 1
- sliding scale on rebuy size depending on blind size
- addon should be minimum 20bb otherwise it feels like a money grab
- Give mtts a name - Saturday Stack not exactly appealing

Saturday Stack

Would make some changes to 5k gtd Deep 1r+1a e50 7k stack 12m blinds

Sunday Entitled

Get rid of the entitled part, this should be the main mtt of the week and open to all

change to 10k gtd Deep 1r+1a e100 10k stack 15m blinds

I would also create a 1/10 versions for the lower buyin players as they should also have special mtts for the weekend.

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

Personally I really like the idea of the 'Sunday Entitled', just the satellites need some improvement. Now they are all turbos. Maybe make the 25€ one at 21:05 CET a reg speed with 8 minutes blinds and 3-5 seats guarantee.

Can you change the payout structure of the tournaments when they have smaller fields. What i mean is, now you pay 3 people with 23 entries and with 24 entries you pay 6. change that to:

up to 5 entries- pay 1 (100% for first)
6-9 entries- pay 2 ( 67%/33%)
10-18 entries-pay 3 (50%/30%/20%)
19-26 entries pay 4 (40/30/20/10)
27-35 entries pay 5 (38/27/17/11/7)
36-43 entries pay 6 (35/25/16/11/8/5)
44-55 entries pay 7 (34/23/15/11/8/5/4)
56-68 entries pay 8 (29/21/16/12/9/6/4/3)
69-81 entries pay 9 (26/20/15/11/9/7/5/4/3)
82-100 entries pay 11 (26/20/15/11/7,5/6/4,5/3,5/2,5/2/2) really important that you pay 11 and not 12. So the bubble will play with 6 people on 2 tables and not with one table with 6 and one with 7.

101-119 entries pay 13 (25/19/14/10/7,5/5,5/4,5/3,5/3/2/2/2/2) again important to have balanced tables on the bubble.

120-141 entries pay 15 (24/17/13/10/7/5,25/4/3/2,75/2,5/2,5/2,5/2,5/2/2)
142-163 entries pay 17 (24/18/12,5/9,5/7,5/5/4/3/2,5/2/2/2/2/1,5/1,5/1,5/1,5) This is all for 9 max tournaments

For 6 max

up to 5 entries- pay 1 (100% for first)
6-9 entries- pay 2 ( 67%/33%)
10-18 entries-pay 3 (50%/30%/20%)
19-26 entries pay 4 (40/30/20/10)
27-35 entries pay 5 (38/27/17/11/7)
36-43 entries pay 6 (35/25/16/11/8/5) here we have a problem with the bubble play. People in general like the 'you have to make the finaltable to cash mentality' but it would be more fair to pay 7 people in this spot

36-55 entries pay 7 (34/23/15/11/8/5/4) do what ever you like more
rest see above. You will see that the mincash is nearly always 2x of the buyin

Also can you add satelittes for UnibetOpen Wien(21 sept- 24 sept)

Have one tree for a tournament ticket 1€/5€/25€/110€/550€

And one tree for a package 2€/10€/50€/250€/1100€ package with 550€ for the buy in+ 550€ for travel/hotel/etc)

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

Like i mentioned in the other thread winamax do alot of great things and obviously you wont copy them but imo they have the blueprint to the best tournament schedule and maybe series too, so scheduling your tournaments and buy ins in a similar way in some areas would make your schedule a must play.

Basic stuff most tournaments being vanilla with not many kos and many tournaments priced between 5-20 $ with attractive gtds. How you offer biggish gtds wen you currently have a small player base for tournaments, i dont know, but in the end its the gtds and no gimmick poker that brings players to sites.

At least 1 or 2 sunday special tournaments in around the $10 price range is also very important.

Can you implement an auto rebuy and add on function in the client? (I don't think there is one?)

I've stopped playing the rebuys after being so tilted several times when I timed out to rebuy or I didn't add on. An automatic rebuy and add on would greatly increase my enjoyment and participation in your rebuy games!

Also can we have some kind of Sunday Major type thing? A normal one, not the entitled.

I wonder if you could make €10k guaranteed for a €25 tourney if you had satties through the week?

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

+1 on the auto add on function.

I would also like to see more step it up tournaments in the schedule. It would be nice to have something like the €4 step it ups more, and maybe with €5 buyin where people could win €25, which makes more sense, because you could then win a buyin to a ''big'' tournament instead of the €20 euro. But either 4 or 5 euro buyin, I would like to see more of these tournaments.

I would also like to see more live qualifiers, especially for the DSO. I would like to have packages for it though, and not seat only qualifiers. For me these qualifiers are a way to have a ''free'' weekend off, and I wouldn't like to win a seat only, and then having to pay a fair amount of money (atleast for me it is) for flights and hotel. Then I rather try harder and win a package.

Re: **Official Unibet MTT Discussion Thread**

Thanks for the feedback. The new MTT schedule will launch on 2nd October, we'll officially announce late next week. Details we have released to our community so far:

- the schedule will have a 'space' theme
- we will have a €20k GTD Sunday major and four smaller Sunday 'mini' majors
- we will add two new blind structures, both offering smoother transitions between levels and antes from the start
- we'll overhaul the qualifier schedule later in October so that generic live event qualifiers are available and players will then choose which tour they'd like to play the final qualifier for

In the meantime, if you'd like to help shape the schedule from here then please feel free to contribute to this thread: https://www.unibetcommunity.com/t5/G.../109005#M18632
