yep same, feels like I've added 2-3 tables all of a sudden. Can someone from PP confirm and revert changes? ty

I wasn't aware of it, will try to find out tomorrow.

Yes- the timebank was reduced from 25 to 15secs as per the update Tuesday
This followed feedback from various sources

I looked into this - already replied via PM
You won power series tickets - not powerfest
These have 7 days expiry which is how the SNG tickets are configured

0.1% of players exploited the tlb so let's punish 100% by reducing timebanks.

you guys made some amazing changes recently but this negates pretty much all of it .
05-04-2017 , 07:18 AM
If it is less time for decisions then I'm going to have to play less tables on Party and you guys will make less rake. That's about it really.

It often takes a second or two more on party to work out what is going on anyway with a light background and very small font and icons.

Anyone here prefer only having 15 seconds per decision?
05-04-2017 , 07:35 AM
Seems strange change, especially with no leaderboards running + even in those LB rules were already changed earlier this spring to "have to cash to get points" which eliminated almost all of the value for stalling. Hard to see other points why to make time to act so short.
05-04-2017 , 08:44 AM
Can we make it 20sec instead? 40% timebank reduction right before Powerfest is quite sudden and unfortunatly will have to cut out some party tables too
05-04-2017 , 09:08 AM
Great change reducing the time bank. Recs don't want to wait for a multi tabling reg stalling and using the full 25 seconds every hand. Party keep up the good work.

Big dislike for the 15sec timebank..Alexos +1 at least 20sec.. and its not a disadvantage for multitable reg, it is disadv. for everybody. Most of the hands are easy decisions and its few seconds, mass multitable will still easily do those with 15 secs, but those 1-1 hand when you want to think a little bit more, everybody will be hurt because of this change..It's like when people complaining about sunglasses, scarfs at live poker, because those young bois are boring(better players)it's ridiculous, people will always whine about something.

Various sources except Pads and team that just completed the mtt structures overhaul. Ok!

It's a big change and riiight before powerfest too when most regs will struggle to keep table count down. I for one know the first ones Ill cut is stuff like Clubber and Counterpunch, which seem like the type of tourneys that are struggling and you're trying to grow.

Make it 20 sec and add some extra timebank to compensate.
05-04-2017 , 12:27 PM
dont mind it being shorter pre post we shouldnt have it reduced at all tho :/
05-04-2017 , 12:36 PM
Time to act pre 15s, post 25s seems good to me. Solves the problem of ppl delaying the game for no reason preflop while giving you time to think postflop.

And if you need more time to act preflop, there is the timebank for that. Not sure why people call time to act as timebank here, unless i'm missing something.

Structures are now in motion for all buy ins levels. Hope you guys enjoy them.

Wrt to the timebank change, I believe only preflop was changed. Postflop and timebank should still be the same. Team is open to re-evaluate after a week though.

I can't see Multiphase tournaments in the client for Saturday (6th). Will they be added?

Tournaments are generally added to the schedule on the day of and never in advance.
05-04-2017 , 04:53 PM
'k, thanks. Just got a bit worried that I could see Phase 1 tournaments for Thursday Friday and Sunday, but not Saturday. Am keen to try them, but I'll give them a bit longer to appear

Pretty cool that I got post in the mail informing me of my free powerfest tickets.

it made no difference to me as i already knew by logging in, but for dormant players/recs etc its a great idea. keep up the good work.
05-04-2017 , 07:56 PM
I didnt won a ticket for powerfest, but i won last week for 22$ phase. Little things matters, thanks party, keep up the good work.
05-05-2017 , 04:31 AM
Shorter pre.seems fine as
05-05-2017 , 04:48 AM
Are all the powerfest tournaments 1 day? I cannot seem to find any info on this, so I guess it is?
05-05-2017 , 07:37 AM
ok, thanks for improving structures across all stakes, they really are much better, just a couple of things;

I think the low stakes should be given 10/12 minute levels, even though the games seemed to run well throughout, i think the blinds still caught up with the action on the last few tables. Also, the reduced time for decisions is no good, felt a bit too rushed at times.

Also noticed you have new structures for the powerfest series, good job.

Structures are amazing but time to act is a tad too short imo
