Re: ****Official PartyPoker/Bwin 2.0 MTT Discussion Thread****

We have made an adjustment to our Progressive Knockout Tournaments (PKOs) going forward
Every PKO tourney with “Brawl” in the name & with a Buy-in of $55 or less have today had re-entry removed meaning these will be freezeout progressive knockouts going forward

Thanks

Colette

Would have been better if you took it one step further and also removed the PKO part of those games too but I guess that's asking too much.

micro mtt especially in the morning (1.10 2.20 5.50 )
can reduce the numbers of 6 minutes levels?

better if there was 8/10/12 min levels but just reduce the number of the 6 minute levels it's good
maybe
10/6 min levels
10/8 minute levels

6/8/10 minutes levels are imo super fast, but even 8/10/12 levels feels fast actually. Around 25-30BBs most of the time. I think you should aim for at least 35-40BBs average. How about 10/12/14 levels you use for HS stuff?

Please adjust powerfest structures to at least 8/10/12 minutes blinds at all levels.

I think this format makes a lot of sense and having uppercut/highroller or turbo earlier in that slot wouldnt really make sense.

In terms of fast friday or fast saturday, everything is up for debate, i think in general people like to crack open a beer and grind friday nights rather than necessarily really grind it out long and slow.

i think generally daily doubles or whatever are relatively cannabalistic, we're trying to move away from multiple tournaments in one time slot.
If you want to spread HS events - no problem! However, please don't ruin lowstakes schedule again with PKOs for a few hours in a row.

When 888 had decent mtt traffic they run very popular Friday Challenge. Your potential "fast" tournament will last probably for 5 hours anyway. Sng hero might "work" better with beer than mtts.

Totally agree with this.

Fire a session on party and you cant late reg anything.

I dont think a turbo day is necessary, if people dont wanna sit for hours they have plenty of other stuff to play and turbos outside of the specials. Rather have a deepstack day and friday seems like a good day for it because people dont have to wake up early the next day.

Just look how poor fast friday are doing on Stars, only 300 runners (2x re entry aswell) on a 215 major that starts peaktime.

You can play multiple Day 1s and the highest stack is taking forward to Day 2
You will receive the 2nd ticket

Why don't you have the PKO tournies :30 each our and the freezeouts at :00? Seems to work well for other sites..

This is just the nature of daily tournaments, it's just not possible to have an 8handed mtt that constantly has a 35-40bb average stack and finishes at a reasonable speed unless you literally start the mtt with 40bb. I agree structures could be slightly slower, but 10/12/14 mins on a huge field will take too long for a non-series.

It's time for 5 PM [UK Time] PKO's GTD Boost. It's a popular format and it never overlays, but having 10k GTD for $215 MTT or 20k GTD for $109 is very bad. It definitely won't get mainstream attention/growth because in hour window you can play BB109 on Stars with way bigger GTD & way softer field.
Please consider boosting GTD's at least slightly.

yes please!
55+ should aim to go with 12/14/16, 10min is too fast in the beginning imo.

You can always make tournaments 2-day events right? plus structures they are using now are def too fast. The higher ( highest ) stuff should def start with atleast 12 min. With the amount of runners the high stuff is getting it will end at reasonable times.

Series should be special, so structures should be better then you're normal schedule.

3/33 daily deepstack with long late reg like previous structures would crush I think. Same time as marathon. Even on 888 the deepstack during daytime do very well. They beat 10k for a 33$

I think later reg could be longer in Sundays. Structures feel a little quick too. Don't mind daily as they are now.

Daily specials great idea to keep schedule fresh. It's very dull.

Agree with everything said about software. I thought we were getting a big update? Only seen a new table graphic. Until software is more stable then stars will be untouched online.
+1 to everything, I guess we both likely remember the same rumour from a certain Discord chat somewhere in late 2016 regarding Party working on a brand-new software About 15 months since then and all we got is basically a new skin that's not even better than skins you can buy online.
