Re: ****Official PartyPoker/Bwin 2.0 MTT Discussion Thread****

Hey guys,

Mac users will have a nice little surprise for Valentines when they log in today. <3 Sorry about the wait there and throughout the year Mac will continually be catching up at a faster pace to the PC guys.

Schedule is starting to take place in the lobby, our daily tournaments are running as planned with very good numbers, so thanks for that. We will be adding our "daily" specials in next week for you to give feedback on before March 5th, they've all been decided, just need implemented into the lobby.

I would like to add some turbos at around 15:30 (uk) 16:30, 17:30, what kind of buy ins would this be? Everything divides by 5 now rather than 10 so every player can move up or down to a comfortable stake. At $1k/$109/$10 so many players get missed out, $1k/$215/$55/$11/$2.20 hits everybody, as does $109/$22/$5/$1.

You will have seen that although the "main" schedule of 3-11pm UK is getting pumped up a lot, we also are trying to push non peak hours too and by March 5th final schedule will be there and good for everybody I hope, I always wanted to have a "proper" 24/7 schedule that made sense, but you need 3-11 to align properly for everything else to tick together. We moved the uppercut 1 hour later and called it the Daily Major, which is good for our friends in Canada and Latam, players who need to be asleep a little earlier have big tournaments in all the hours before to compensate. The daily major finished at 4:30AM (UK) yesterday which is not too late for players finishing 20th etc and falls in nicely with the Canadian crowd helping us to hit bigger guarantees through the night too.

Why the **** you keep changing structures all the time? and who's idea was to make $22 tournaments 12 min levels. Day tournaments take now 5 hours and still 15 left.. Some players with 100bbs. Nobody wants to play for couple hundred bucks for 10 hours. Insanity. I think it's fine when you're playing for a bigger amount of money, but for couple hundred bucks seems kinda pointless.

And why this changing all the time? It seems like every day there's some difference. Just to stick to one one and go with it.. Jesus.

same with tournament schedule, you keep changing it almost every second week.

You have some good things going, but you keep changing them back to **** and then again you fix it.. and then again you go back.. It seems like you have no clue what you are doing. That's how it looks like.

It's also incredibly annoying for obv reasons for probably a large portion of the player base.

change Jab structure to 10 min
bring Contender back to 20 CET (10 min structure would be better but change to 12 if you really want to)
change the time when weekly rakeback points reset from Mon midnight to Mon noon

how do you like it? ofc if new schedule will fix these problems then prob it's not a big deal but imo what I proposed is worth thinking-through.

When you missclick "fold" in position postflop (unbet pot), you get the option "are you sure? check/fold)

There should either be a "cancel" option (in this instance, i had the TPTK and wanted to bet)
Or the button just shouldnt be there at all.

+1
12min blinds in lowstakes tourneys are just taking too long. maybe 10 mins in beginning then 12 later would be better but 12 from the beginning is too slow.

For lowstakes ($1-$11) one turbo at :30 could be enough. For instance, $5 at 15:30uk, $11 at 16:30uk, $2 at 17:30uk. Probably, $1 500gtd might not be exciting but $2 1k, $5 1.5k etc. could be good turbos.

I like 12 minute lvl, especially for 4pm-6pm uk lowstakes mtts. For 7pm-8pm uk faster levels (10 or 10/12 minute lvl) could be better. 7pm, 8pm lowstakes mtts might last until 5am with 12 minute lvl which could be too much, especially, for weekday mtts.
For instance, a lot of European players might skip $1 Daily Major ar 8pm uk if it will last 8-9 hours. While for Latcam and Canada $1 players 10 minute lvl will be good enough.

Worst schedule of the online poker history in my opinion . I dont want to play 8-10hours for a 11$ tour. Copy paste or make similar like Stars.ES, or Winamax or Ipoker or 888 every ***** site has more variety and better tournaments than Party.

It is pretty insane for the micros. I want the bigger gtd's, but I'll be well into the money/busted my tourneys on the other sites (2-4 hours in) and I'll look at party 11/22 bounty and we'll be 100 players away from the money and 50 down from where late reg ended, and its not uncommon for them to be my only remaining tournaments quite far from the money. The play time is insane, but its fine for some tourneys to have the 12 minute blinds, just not all.

omg your lobby still looks like ***** crapsh*t honestly.. non-customizable size-wise, it's either fullscreen or that halfscreen crap, can't scroll in 2 windows at same time without clicking in one of them first, so tilting

also still not supporting jivaro I can imagine, even if someone from PP said it would be supported last year

Opened and closed the client today, just.. ugh i cant stand it

Re: ****Official PartyPoker/Bwin 2.0 MTT Discussion Thread****

I can't objectively say if the schedule is better or worse but it feels like a stab in the back when party completely revamps their mtt schedule over and over and over when you get used to playing certain tourneys .

Party basically sending out the message that we shouldn't get too attached to anything in their schedule because nothing is permanent .

IMO having 11-22-55 vanilla at 16-18-20 CET is a winning formula , prog ko during the odd hours in between .

Withdrew my br cuz i'd rather play on other sites with more stability .

When you have ps.eu/ps.es/winamax/888/acr to play on , are you missing out by not playing on party ? sadly my answer to that would be no .

I'd say the new structures are going down well with recreationals, been having some better tables than usual according to sharkscope - better combination of recs and pros.

I'd assume Party really needs to nail the schedules down if it was to get great marketing value from the $3million leaderboard.

Quick bit of feedback regarding the display of multiple mtt tickets in lobby:

Different tickets will always have different expiry dates yet for some reason only one date is ever displayed (even if you have more than one ticket). We should be able to see each ticket and its corresponding expiry date individually ...
I understand that the ticket that expires soonest is shown first, but i want to see the expiry date for each individual ticket. Seems a logical way to avoid unecessary confusion.

While I agree with what you are saying about the clocks, I don't think it's fair to say party hasn't improved. I think schedule is starting to look a lot better, with even some decent tournaments in the early timezone, and afaik it isn't the 5th of march yet either. This is a transitioning phase, plus the new table software is absolutely much better in the beta's that I've already seen, so I would say there are actually quite exciting times ahead. New schedule (which is being put together piece by piece in the lobby) plus new software will be a great improvement.

Fwiw, I and a few others have been striving for shorter clocks for a lot of tournaments, and I'm hopeful that we can accomplish it. It's all about finding that middle ground imo, which is being accomplished by experimenting.

i play in the asian/singapore timezone so i ve been a leftover for a long time lol.....
you are right to say PP is trying and does moves often.....but literally going back on their decisions a few months after is really useless then, and that s what annoys many players for a while now, no consistency at all....

the long structures are fine on some - daily specials- and buy ins over 109dols, common sense
