Ex-Official partypoker/bwin MTT Thread (No party poker support) - Page 121 - MTT Poker Strategy

Does anyone find the tournaments on partypoker a lot tougher than the other sites? If so, is there a reason for this?

Also what confuses me is why would recreational players want to play on party since the software is not that good. I mean its much better than previously. But still stars and 888 software is much better than party.

Party is partnered with a stable leader who drives traffic to the site, this allows them to advertise larger guarantees which are faux created by the stable traffic, there are threads on this subject and all the moral hazard it has created.

Maybe a high RB attracts more regs, whilst recs don't really care?

It's in your settings as shown below:

Ticking these boxes will make the BB feature the default option until such time as you change them again.

No but 5hr 30 is apparently.

Collette feedback from players is overwhelmingly that structures are awful and need a complete overthrow.

how can the structures be so poor? Tournaments are unplayable late on. Please just go back to smaller starting stacks and improve structures overall, add more blind levels, bring back the staggered 8/10/12 levels you had before, do something other than what you have now. Its utterly frustrating to play hours in a tournament then suddenly everyone has <20bb when it matters most.

i agree the stacks should consolidate when u reach semi final. but that s a logical consewquences of thge useless mid game way too long when every wait without playing a key pot

There are mix max events in this series. There are 2 days where every single MTT is a mix max.

Overall though, the series does look pretty good IMO.

Way to many PKOs in the christmas freeze schedule, and why can't I filter those out?! I have only "freezeout" box checked but I still see all of these horrible PKOs.

Would also rather see day 2s and better structures, right now i dont think there's any day 2s?

2 mix max days? Well ill skip those but a big improvement on the last couple of series that were littered with them.

Im guessing with freezeout they mean no re entry, so that is a huge improvement too.
