4k and anything above 17" should work. 21-24" works well and everything above is just nice.

Hi, I just bought a LG 32" 32UD59 IPS 4K Freesync HDMI Gaming Monitor to go along with my 2 22" monitors. I have it set at 3840 x 2160 resolution but the picture quality is poor and is much clearer on my other monitors. When i have pokerstars tables open at default size the image quality on the 22" monitor is much sharper than the 32" monitor. I have the new monitor connected to my graphics card with the HDMI cable thatt came with it.
I know very little about setting things like this up so any help would be appreciated.

You probably have it running at 30hz, instead of 60hz. I have to go into my graphics card control panel and change it from 30hz to 60hz.

No idea what graphics card you have, but it might be that you can't run it at 60hz, or you need to use a display port/mini display port rather than HDMI.

Thanks for your help. It looks like my graphics card can't support this monitor . It only allows me to run it at max 30hz. I have a amd radeon r9 200 series graphics card. Any ideas on which graphics card I should get to run this properly ?

1. 1x LG 34UM88C (34' 3440x1440 )
2. 2x 27' 1920 x 1080
Wich setup can fit more normal size tables ?

IKEA Marcus is widely recognized as a good “inexpensive” chair

Waiting on delivery for dell xps 13 - new XPS line is excellent for poker. If you have the budget XPS 15 is a great pick - rumored to have a 5k screen on release.

Not so much need for a monitor with these kind of resolutions - might pick up computer glasses with some magnifcation if the tables are too small.

Anyone has experience playing on a 4k monitor on 30hz? If so how is it?

I am thinking about to buy one, my video card can do the 4k resulution but my hdmi port is not 2.0, so it wouldn't support the 60hz. Any solution to solve this?

I'd imagine that it would be still fine for poker but videos and esp. gaming would be hit. As far as solutions go I'd doubt there's a cheap one.

How about DisplayPort?

And as far as refresh rate goes if you use Windows 10 you can check yourself by -> right click on desktop -> display settings -> display adapter properties -> monitor -> screen refresh rate -> change it to 30Hertz.

30hz on a 4k monitor is not advisable. The mouse pointer will be extremely laggy. Once u change to 60hz its fine.

All of the monitors you linked will provide the same amount of workable desktop space (they are all 1080p) There are some differences between them, none of which will impact your needs. The dell IPS would be better if viewing angles and video editing were more of a priority.

I'd say if you're playing 10 tables to consider spending extra on a 2560x1440 resolution.

I know this stuff gets asked all the time so I'll offer $20 on paypal if I purchase something that gets recommended to me.

I've had nothing but macs for the past decade so completely clueless about PCs.

Looking for a desktop computer <$1000 that can support multiple android emulators running as well as pio. No gaming or anything like that.

Got few questions. Have 2 monitors that are 24' and have 1920x1200 resolution. Thus if i have 8 tables, you would see 4 on each monitor. I do not change the size of the tables on stars or party or 888. I previously had used 1 monitor only and when i did this, you see 4 tables with no overlap. But say i have 16 tables going... well it would be like 4 tables on each quadrant. Thus 3 tables over each table. So any action that comes, well it would go to that table.

I previously tried to tile 6 tables to see how it would look and table is a lot smaller which i did not like. The cards are much smaller and the bet button and numbers are tiny so i did not like this. So because of that, i got a 2nd monitor because i want to view more tables. But if i have say 16 tables going... well it would be like 2 tables or 3 tables on each quadrant of each monitor if you know what i mean. So tables that im focused on a lot, i would either only have that one table in that quadrant or maybe 2 tables on it only. Also when ppl play multiple sites like stars and party, i assume you guys never put like stars tables over party and vice versa right? Because when you do this, the table doesn't pop up correctly. So everyone here just make sure party tables go over party tables etc right?

The thing i want to know is... if you have a 3840 x 2160 monitor... how many stars tables can you open up where the tables are default size and no overlap? I assume its 6? I heard people talk about tiling 12 tables or 24 tables on a 27 or 28' monitor with 3840 x 2160. First off if you do this, the tables will be so tiny. How do you guys even play like that? I find it tough when i tile 6 tables on a 24' monitor with 1920x1200 because i don't like making tables smaller. I wouldn't mind making it a bit smaller but when the cards look weird and the betting numbers are different, i do not like this.

So if you want to 12 table with no overlap and keep table size the same, then having 2 monitors of 3840 x 2160 would be ideal? Thus 6 on each table? Or could you even get 8 tables tiled where the table doesn't get that much smaller?

So if one has 2 monitors with 1920x1200 resolution and is 24'... if you get a 27 or 28' monitor with 3840 x 2160, then you could have 14 tables or maybe 16 tables with no overlap at all while looking at tables? Could you even use 3 monitors on a laptop?

Also what mouse do you guys use? Because i previously tried using a trackball mouse... it was nice because i could move the mouse with the trackball. But it felt very weird when increasing/decreasing the betting on the betslider whether it stars or partypoker. The regular wireless mouse feels a bit better. But since im using 2 monitors now, well i have to keep moving the mouse manually from one monitor to the other and that is pretty tiring. I know that tableoptimizer has this option where it would automatically point the mouse to the exact table where you have action on so you don't need to keep manually moving it. I first liked it... but then i felt annoyed by it. So curious how you guys move your mouse when you have 2 monitors or even more?

Also do most of you just play on your laptop only and don't use a monitor? I don't know how you guys can do this for a long time. I mean the only way is stacking right?

if you can deal with stacking 16 tables i cannot imagine the QoL of tiling 8 is any worse at all
