The $5.50 & $16.50 Big Fish tournaments were well short again on needed players for the guarantee.

I'll be joining the missing 100's, they take far far too long. Over 3 hours late reg is not fun for recs, it's not fun for anybody. It's not like they are deep stacked slow tourns. You keep upping the reg time to meet guarantees and now less people are playing.

The $5.50 Big Fish starts at 7.30pm and it's still not in the money at midnight. That's ridiculous for a micro stake tournament.

The equivalent Big $5.50 on Stars would be in the money by about 9.45pm, yours would still have another half an hour of reg'ing. Then another 2 hours to the money because you don't add re-entries to the payout structure so they only pay 10%.

Pokerstars $16.50 Big - 1 hour 45 mins reg (same as all Bigs on Stars)
888 $16.50 Big Fish - 3 hours 5 mins reg

A low stake tournament with a late reg similar to the Sunday Million but with much shorter time structure.

The worst thing about this is that despite so much time to get ITM structures are extremely poor and turboish even compared to Bigs.

Whats wrong with just paying 10%? The tournament doesnt stop just because you reached the money. I agree a lot of them take far too long but paying more people is not the solution. Payouts at the top would decrease and it would make even less sense to play for 7-8hrs.
Somewhere during the last few month something went really wrong. Its not explainable that a non rentry 16.5$ KO(saturday special) on Stars gets 10 times the runners than the 16.5$ KO with reentries on 888 who are roughly in the same time slot last saturday. After all Stars made all the bad decisions. I dont think its just about the offerings. Must be something with depositing or software that keeps people away.

I mentioned the 10% payouts just to explain that you can play for nearly 5 hours in a micro $5 tournament and not cash, FIVE HOURS! A $5 tournament on Stars would be in the money after around 2 hours 15 mins.

The tournament structure isn't designed for that length so before you even reach the money it's just an all in fest anyway.

I only played there for the MTTs as the SnG lobby rake is unbeatable. They don't seem to be doing anything to attract players and I fear they'll be the next Ipoker unless there's a big change.

They need to treat rebuys are unique entries and pay more places, simple as that.

It's unsustainable to have a fun players brick 20 in a row, which is perfectly possible when paying 8-10%, and think they'll just merrily keep coming back. Or have semi-fun players consistently take shots into tournaments with even more intense variance than in their regular games.

my first week playing on 888 i depo'd 40 bucks and FTd like 6-7 750s and profited like 350 all in one week..ever since then its been brick city..thought it was great at first, but now i feel like its what you last posters seem to be saying..

structure i guess?..idk very odd to me though..the overlays in the bigger tourneys seemed great but now its way out of my BR since the massive downswing..

side note: had some horrible problems with Dcs yesterday and i finally FTd a crappy little 300gtd and made it heads up and just Dc'd out while the other dude just stole the win..

also had that problem on Partypoker and others were saying the same thing...so crappy...more tilting then getting rivered 100 times during a steady connection...maybe lol..

Apart from PKO's I dont think that micro mtts should be reentry at all. Recreationals play them for a reason(not enough money) and are confronted with microregs who can and will reenter as much as possible.

I don't see them stopping re-entries. I've seen them pull tournaments from the schedule rather than lower the guarantee.

I remember when the reason for late registration was for people who were actually a little late to reg before the tournament starts. If you were more than a little late then there were plenty of other tournaments you could reg for instead. Now it's just to inflate the guarantee and make it look like the tournaments still have the prizes they had before.

Maybe the poker rooms know that poker is virtually over with all the countries with expendable income being banned and are now just squeezing the last drop out of it before it goes bang.

I guess over 3 hour reg is ok for piss bottle regs who are glued to a monitor from morning to night but it's a turn off for what little recs that are left and once they all leave...well.

definitely get to money faster, definitely end late reg earlier, and definitely remove reentries (maybe 1 re for the flagship "big fish" tourneys), definitely fix your new trash software

I cant even deposit or withdraw with Skrill or Neteller. You cant transfer money to other players. This site will be dead soon.
