Too aggressive late stages ? Too aggressive late stages ?

I am struggling to get from 100 to 1st (anywhere from 500 to 3000 runners)

i am finding myself becoming a aggro donk late stages.

Thing is i am not sure if i am playing very badly or maybe just running into top of peoples ranges/unlucky.

I tend to play conservative/loose very early on - i play most suited connectors pairs K10 Kj suited etc - i like to double up early on when theres heaps of players willing to pay off if i hit.

Mid tourny i think i lock up a bit too tight - altough its hard to find spots a lot of time. Example being i have 40-60 BB and to my left theres a couple of 6-12BB players. So my opening range has to lock up a bit cos my usual open 2.2BB to 4BB depending on action before me - If for example i raise 78suited Mid pos and get jammed by a 6-12BB im nearly always committed to call.

Recently i have been squeezing more often -which is profitable when i play opponents with same size stack as me mid to late tourny - 50BB deep etc

Heres an example

2 players one with 600k one with 1.2mill me in BB with 590k - Blinds 6/12k and a ante (both active players)

600k in HJ raises to 24,800
1.2mill calls on button

Me in BB with 6d7d repop to 84k (i think this(sizing) is consistent with my play so far and a few of my hands of gone to a show down/all in my hands shown KK AQsuited and 9c10c which i had to call off to a short stack)

FLOP - 6 A 2 (2 diamonds) pot is around 300k mark
my stack left is maybe 400k

I played this bad now - i open shoved brain fart bad play missed draw 600k stack wins with AQ off.

========================
My question is - how to proceed here , am i committed once i see this flop ? its basically 50/50 - if i lead flop 100k+ am i now committed.
100k looks stronger or even 92k etc , thing is once i get opp to put in another 90-100k he is becoming more invested too.

Open Jam never looks like Aces - maybe AK

How do you proceed here with a hand like that ?
How often do you risk your stack on a draw late on ?am i over playing hands- being too aggro i think i look at players remaining stacks so if i see top 15 all double my stack i tend to fight to get back in that stack range too, before i dwindle too low.

i finished 57 out of 2000 or something and i am regularly finishing this kind of position
