Personally this is not an issue. I have always been upfront with my family abt gambling, winning or losing. I have never felt the need to hide anything from them. They are very supportive and im obviously thankful for that. Sometimes i hear stories from my friends who are more sheltered than i was/am and I can easily see how it may influence other ppl tho.

I have also talked to ppl who probably should not be playing the limits they are but the idea of moving down and not being part of the elite is too much to bear.

False, I am backed and it has a lot more to do with being properly rolled when I am getting ready to buy and house and head to medical school. I could grind low stakes with my edge or play the higher stakes with a greater +$EV backed.

There is nothing more tilting to me than clueless idiots pretending to have a clue what they are talking about, and that is bad enough with people that actually play poker/post on 2p2. Then there are the idiots that play homegames from time to time, watched the WSOP on TV, and think they'd take me on hu4rollz. But really, when you get up to gobbomom level, it just becomes so ridiculous that you wonder if she is actually serious or just drunkedly mashing away at buttons on the computer screen because she literally has nothing better to do with her time.

Coookiez and kush ftmfw....I contemplated getting backed too but I dunno bout the whole money thing. At a point where I like playing what I play, I can withdraw everything I win (except giving money to horses)...really just want live deal and doubt anyone is gonna buy pieces of me with no live experience.

Then why do many players such as Charder, BelowAbove, Deeb continue to be backed after they have accrued enough winnings to play everything online and would have no trouble selling off action for 10k's that they didn't want all their own action for.

If I didn't have a roll because I withdrew lets say 20-30k to buy/pay for something, then i'd def get backed all over again and not mess with micro ****. However, once you get rolled for everything, and ur not on a live binge yet (cuz ur not 21), then yeah really no point. So, when I ship big monies in mill/wcoop like someone I know did, then I def wouldn't be getting backed when I play everything already :]

EDIT: And I kind of agree with Seabeast in a way...people are broke...yeah they ship a few micro donkaments but most ARE prolly broke for the stakes they want to play (when they started getting backed...obv might not be now). So, they are +EV at higher buy in flippaments, didn't have the "200 buy in rule to not go broke" so backaroonies. And live is just LOL @ how much expenses are (after reading forums), so unless u pull a psyduck or Atimos and poop 1m+ out ur behind on some glorious day, backing might be good for you.

About 20k on a $90avg buy in before I got dropped. On my own now, and have to play less volume, and not all of the tournaments i want to play.

Had a 50/50+mu deal. And when i hit about 15k in mu, my backer cut the make up, and we had a 20/80 deal untill I were out of mu.
That would have worked fine if I didnt suck
