I think length of day 1 for events starting late (22:00 CET+) is too long.

With no direct buyin for Phase 2's, can you look at fixing the payouts so the majority pay, rather than using standard payout? For example, 44-Micro is currently paying 63/457. Based on average stack this is essentially paying 63/4500, which is absurd.

I know I just complained about length of day 1 for late events, but maybe it's fine for some tournaments aimed I guess at other timezones. So scratch that.

I wanted to appreciate two things:
1) reasonable late reg period
2) day 1 length seems great, hopefully it plays out well wrt balance between day 1 and day 2

so if I want to play #06 and #44 then I have to qualify today or tomorrow to both? pretty obvious in regards to #06 but I don't see any phase 1s to #44 after Oct 20

what happened to structures? there were some events which had starting stacks like 10k, 12.5k, 20k? Now all i can see are 30k and 50k stacks?

The structures are being custom-written for this series. I've been working on the structures, starting stacks, late registration times, etc for over a week. While the full details would be a bit much to post here at the moment, I can tell you that within each stakes level, the starting stacks vary by buy-in.

I initially had higher starting stacks planned than are currently in place, but especially for the micro-stakes events, I have to account for the possibility of running out of available registration slots due to exceeding the maximum number of chips in play... so, I've modified them a bit and still retained a system which I think will work out very well. Here's an example of one option (three written at present) for non-rebuys in the micro stakes level:
$1.10 Standard: 5,000 starting chips
$2.20 Standard: 7,500
$3.30 Standard: 10,000
$4.40 Standard: 12,500
$5.50 Standard: 15,000
$11 Warm-Up: 20,000
$22 Main Event: 25,000
$any Ultra-Deep: 50,000
Bryan this doesn't seem the case any longer?

yes, it looks like they changed it all to 100 bb starting stacks i liked it more the way it was before, it was more kind of special imo

Structures are too fast the first 4 hours (until it gets too 12 min blinds). Meant to be a series need more play early

You cant name an event Ultra Deep, and then put 100bb starting stack, thats just nonsense. Change name or starting stack pls, it starts tomorrow at 14:00 cet.

it was ultra deep, the structure was completely different only until recently, would like to know what happened with the initial structures, very strange.

Is there a way to see how many reentries have been done? These overlays in the 3$/33$ dont look good but thats without reentries or are these counted in the number of total entries?

Is it possible to find earlier bustouts? I reentried 3 times in the 1$ but only find my last bustout. I somehow cant believe it didnt get the guarantee. Is it possible the software didnt track reentries?

Re-entries are counted in the number of entries you see in the lobby.

I think the series was designed to overlay, I don't know if by that much. Still better to overlay in the micro & mid stakes than the 109+.

I wonder why Bryan doesn't come to answer some of the questions asked in here, it strikes me as quite unusual of him this close to the series. Hope everything's fine.

This needs to answered & FIXED asap imo. You already have shallow payout events, that's not the goal of phases.

the sad part is that all the new players and the micro players who just swap over for monster series will just leave again when the series is over, due to the very very poor daily schedule for micro players. even right now i don't see many of the monster series micro players stepping into the regular tournaments simply because they are not appealing

Hey guys,

Yeah after feedback from players from some of the undesirable time zones for the initial schedule and after seeing performance on day 1, we've made some changes to help the players be able to play more tournaments and enjoy schedules that will suit them a little bit better.

For example, there was a $55 80k guaranteed tournament tomorrow starting at 1pm UK time, obviously this is an amazing tournament and lots of people would miss out by having it at 1pm, same for the 3pm $33 75k guaranteed, amazing tournament that we want as manny people as possible to be able to attend.

All of those "early" tournaments will now be starting at 5pm UK time.

We got a lot of feedback also about the low stakes tournaments being 2 day and we saw that in line with our participation numbers. There was more interest for the $22 20k guaranteed power series event than the $33 50k monster Series which started at the same time basically. We have amended start times to allow them to finish at a reasonable time and made them 1 day.

Finally, event 12 was supposed to be a 2 day, we listened to feedback and made this start an our earlier and make it a 6 minutes "turbo" this is a $55 $60k event and looks to be amazing value. It has his sister tournament at a $5.50 $15k event running by its side. If these tournaments are popular we can look at including them into the normal schedule, late night turbos was one of the most popular requests that we got when asking players what they would like added.

There are a few tournaments that look certain to give a lot of value, the FLO8 20K guaranteed $20 event will start at 3pm. All changes are in the lobby, we hope it helps people play and enjoy as many of these huge guaranteed lower stakes buy ins.

Well I've lost some respect for PP now. I had planned my day around playing those tournaments and (luckily) then found out on here that they've suddenly been changed. No direct communication about this though, so I guess most people would only find out when they load up the client at 1pm/ 3pm and wait for the tournaments to start...

I was looking forward to finally having some cool midstakes tournaments that I can play without having to stay up for most of the night - you're already focussed on ET for all your main tournaments, can't you let UK etc players have just a couple of good mid stakes tournaments that we can play in daylight hours

Yeah, last minute change of structure/times whatever sucks and is quite surprising. I'm shocked to see today's $4.40 event at 14:00 ET isn't a 2-day one. If my math is right FT will be reached after 11-12 hours, no thanks.
