A couple of changes I'd personally like to see are

Tuesday 24 October 2017
14:00 - Event 20 ($4.40 / $44): NL Hold'em [6-Max, Progressive Knockout (75%)]
*Making this tourney a 25-50% PKO. Not a huge fan of 75% KOs, not to mention 6-Max will drive more action without the need for the larger KO making it a bit of a gamblefest. Don't mind some gamble here and there but it looks like this is the 'main event' for that day.

Sunday 29 October
10:00 - Event 46 ($1.10 / $11): NL Hold'em [Rebuy (4x), Turbo]
*Would love to see this become a reg speed 1r/11r with a good guarantee! Has the potential to be a great tournament!
+1

what is the problem poker rooms have with mixed games?

HORSE
Razz
8-game
Stud8
Deuce to seven

Put some other stuff in the software!

I know Party Software offers Stud 8...so would be nice to put one tournament in the schedule. Would prefer the only Stud tournament to be reg speed and not turbo. Of course in general mixed games would be great but i doubt that at that point party software has mixed games.

Schedule is a bit too gimmicky for my liking personally, but that seems totally fine given the last 20 vanilla NLHE schedules.

Why is Limit O8 75% PSKO a thing? And the same with Limit Hold 'em 50% PSKO, why?
I don't think it is very conducive to either of those.
(NLO8 PSKO is fine.)

I don't think any Limit formats should have a KO attached to them as it alters normal play. Limit is about grinding up a stack and the 1 guy that KO's the loser shouldn't be given any extra credit besides the chips.

For an Omaha variant I think factoring a KO aspect would further confuse recreational players that would have a hard enough time just playing the game.

Overall this looks to be shaping up to be a great series and I hope it works out really well.

The $215 Main Event will for sure replace the Title Fight. The $22 Main Event may replace the Contender.

Stud HL is available in cash games but not for tournaments.

For what it's worth, I agree that the menu of available game types needs to be expanded. I've taken time to consider what needs to be added (in my opinion) and sent a detailed list of potential game improvements/additions to the rest of our group. A few particular items that I consider to be important: KO in any MTT type, addition of game types (NLO, NLO8, HORSE (and component games)), Mixed games (NLHE/PLO alternating, for example), FastForward MTTs. I'm sure that the site will continue to develop over time, however I don't have a timeline for any upcoming developments at this time. I can only assure you that your concerns have been heard and that I agree.

You make some good points. Thank you.

Similar to the list mentioned above regarding game improvements and/or additions, I've also provided a list (in a discussion with my colleagues) of promotional tools which I believe to be the most effective when it comes to ensuring that players consider various Events in a series to be "appointment poker" as we say.

Not sure if party can support that at present.
From past (extensive) experience, I can tell you that non-50% PKOs have been very popular. We do need to be careful to assign percentages in games/areas where they fit the best, as FarseedFinland alluded to in his post above. After considering the feedback on the placement of PKO-75% in a fixed limit split pot Event, I've reviewed knockouts throughout the schedule in order to ensure that we've got the best possible variety of PKOs and PKO percentages.

As for 8-Game, at the present time we don't have the ability to deal 8-Game.

Speaking of 8-Game, I have a question about potential future expansions. If at some point we add more games but do not add Draw variants (either yet, or ever), what would you think of the following mix?

NL Hold'em -> PL Omaha -> Seven-Card Stud -> FL Hold'em -> PL Omaha Hi/Lo -> Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo -> Razz -> NL Omaha Hi/Lo

I've discussed options for a leaderboard with colleagues, though I can't promise anything. Suffice it to say that I believe that having a Player of the Series Leaderboard is very good for both the players and the site as leaderboards add value for the players while encouraging play in more Events.

As I write this reply, I don't currently have any direct impact on the regular schedule as managing said schedule is not within my list of responsibilities. Having said that, I can tell you that we have a great core group of people in our Poker Room Management team and that a free exchange of ideas is heartily encouraged, something that I've loved from the first day I met my new colleagues. We're all very much on the same page(s) in many ways.

So, while I can't say what might change with the regular schedule later in the year, I can say that we're in very good shape moving forward. We have a core group of poker experts with decades of combined experience, each of us considering, discussing, and designing ways to make playing poker on our site as enjoyable as possible.

I'm pleased to announce that the schedule is finalized, and that the final version (11) incorporates a lot of feedback we've received. I'll be posting it shortly.

Highlighting the changes made specifically in response to feedback...
  • Change $1.10+R/$11+R [Rebuy (4x), Turbo] to a regular speed rebuy.
    • This was done, largely due to the proximity of the Event to the Main Event. A 4x-Rebuy was added later in the schedule.
  • Change Event 20 (24 Oct, 14:00) from 75% KO to 25% KO or 50% KO.
    • This was done, and Event 20 is now set at Progressive Knockout (50%).
  • Limit events should not have Knockouts.
    • Agreed and actually not even something we could do except in Limit Hold'em, anyway.
  • Change Stud event from Turbo to Regular speed.
    • Done.
  • Consider changing expensive x-Turbos.
    • Done. Previously, the nX-Rebuy Events were all either $3.30/$33 or $4.40/$44. They're now set at $1.10/$11 (3), $2.20/$22, and $4.40/$44.
  • Request for $11/$109 NLHE Warm-Up on Main Event Sunday.
    • Done. Great idea!

Many other changes have been made as well, mostly related to achieving the best fit throughout each day and throughout the series in terms of Event variety. Also, knockout percentages were re-evaluated throughout the series.

Thanks again! Satellites and Phase 1s will be starting before you know it!

Look like a really good series that people asked for

I would suggest to put at least Main Event into lobby before powerfest ends, so people can noticed this (specially those who are not regular players on party).

I also believe that even micro-to-mid-stakes series should have one own High-Roller event. Last Tuesday seems like a best day to have $55/$530 or even $109/$1050 since you are testing a new buyins during monster series.

Hopefully we can see variety buyins and formats on party after this series ends.
