I played Day 1b, not aware that Day 1a ran 30 levels or that we'd skip 3 levels for Day 2 and I'd enter with a 16bb stack.

I don't accept Day 1a 28-30 bustouts are more worthy of compensation, they had the opportunity to accumulate deeper.

At this stage you won't be able to please everyone but all Day 2 qualifiers (mid and micro) cashing should be the min. 8x-10x min cashes are cruelly excessive given the circumstances.

My chances of winning are lessened. I'll get over it, but let me be assured of a cut of the pool.

Hello,

I made it through to day two of the $400k GTD 109 monster event. However, I was playing the last few levels yesterday under the impression that qualifying for day 2 would count as a mincash - from reading this thread and the estimate that 8% of the prize pool would make it through, and from seeing that there was only something like 100 out of 1130 entries left with a few levels to go.

At this stage I had 2.7 million chips and was comfortably in the top 10 players. Adjusting to what I assumed were the conditions in the tournament, I played an agresssive style designed to put ICM pressure on large stacks which were smaller than mine, and I bluffed off 3/4 of my stack in a spot where I knew I was overbluffing, but felt that I would have added fold equity from this ICM pressure. I also thought that if the bluff failed I would still more than likely make it through to day 2 for a mincash, so it was worth a shot trying to accumulate more chips.

Whether this adjustment was correct or not I don't know, but the point is it was already not ideal that I was having to try to figure out what was going on with the tournament structure while it was in play, and now that I see that the chips I have left over mean I'm unlikely to mincash because of the unusual structure and the fact that making it to day 2 didn't entail a mincash, I'm annoyed because I might have played differently had I known.

I'm sure there's lots of situations like this and I don't know what a fair resolution would be but I just thought I'd mention it.

Overall the series has been great, I've played a tonne of events and really enjoyed it, but the unusual structures and changes of plan have been pretty confusing and stressful at times.

Party butchered these main events so hard. I thought the starting blind levels for day two was 30k/60k, so I got aggressive with a 20bb stack in level 27 of the day 1b monday and ended up busting in the final hand of the day by treating my stack like a 8-10bb effective stack.

Complete bull**** to mislead people this way and put no information in the lobby.

are you using hem2? there is some software bug which stop the software importing hh into hem for some mtts. Iv only noticed it in deep in the phases on sundays

When you are seated back to a table where you played previously, HUD doesnt show.

Try close that table and open it again from lobby. That should help.

This problem should be same for HEM and PT. It is party software bug in writing hand histories.

Hey guys, Jesus what a long 10 days!!!!

I wasn't involved until around half way through the 1st day, but whilst there was definitely a lot of mistakes, I think there was definitely a lot of positives to take from the series.

First of all, would just like to say big sorry to anybody who was negatively effected by changing of starting times, changing of structures etc etc, I believed very strongly that all the changes made were to benefit the wider player pool and to allow more people to enjoy the series, but if I was the guy who changed his work plans, I would stick a picture of pads on a dart board and throw darts for the next 1 week too. Again, very sorry, it could have been handled way better, but this change, like every change we make is to help and benefit players, thats always our intention.

Moving forward, we are going to run with a "2 day" tournament every Sunday at 7pm UK time on Sunday/Monday and 5pm on Tuesday, likely coming back at 8pm UK time for the 2nd day. This will allow people in countries like Canada participate easier.

We are going to grow the 5pm uk slot (6pm cet) to a massive 1 day tournament, this is better for the players as it finishes at a reasonable time rather than at noon the next day. We believe we can grow this slot bigger than the title fight ever was and will be our "1 day main event" on Sundays. We do however believe the 2 day tournament will be a big attraction for players on the site, it will allow us to attract recreational players that can't currently participate because they have work early on Monday mornings. It will make Monday a day people look forward to registering and it will make Tuesday a SUPER day. We will run this at at least 2 different buy ins, and further information will be here very soon.

In terms of this tournament and series in the future as long as i'm associated with the site I'll make sure I go above and beyond expectations to make sure all of the smaller issues are rectified way in advance, I'll make sure payouts are checked and everything else. We really want you to support us, new lobby is coming THIS MONTH, new table is coming before the end of the year. We want to build the sexiest online schedules that you can imagine based on logic (structures/staritng times/satalites etc) we announced yesterday a new $100m live festivas for 2018 including a grand finale in Barcelona and a $5k $5m online at the end of 2017.

We can make a deal, tell your friends to play on Party Poker, if things in the series or the major events like this **** up, I'll make sure to take full responsibility and you can all post in these threads "Patrick Leonard made a boo-boo" but I'm confident from now on in everything will be at a high quality.

Congrats on the series,

I had alot of fun playing it and maybe spend more money than i should have on buyins :P played every single NL Holdem micro event and i have to say it was very refreshing.

As i mentioned on the other thread i hope we see some of the 2$ and 3$ monster series tournaments back in the daily schedule with different guarentees ofc. The structures overall were pretty nice.

And this feedback comes from a player who lost alot more than he should have .

Thanks for the Monster series, it was a great series overall and I enjoyed a lot playing it.

I'm a big fan of the 2-day event on Sunday-Tuesday, and I'm really curious to see how the big event at 18:00 CET will be implemented.

Thanks Party for that.
I enjoyed the tournaments i played, very nice structures.

Only downside was that there where to many small mistakes.

+ good structures
+ good variety of games and formats
+ good mix of different buyin levels

- messing up the FL Stud tournament
- no satellites for the last tournaments yesterday
- messing up the 4x rebuy

Just bring something like that to your normal schedule. Soon!

I realize it did not run perfect, but mad props to party for putting this series on. I know there were a ton of overlays, but seriously thank you for at least going big, and being willing to come up short on the guarentees, something that ****hole other site is never willing to do.

Still think Deep stack structure on stars is far superior. When deep: Average stack is 40-45BBs

Monster series av stack was around 30BB. Same length of time of running, in fact stars deep stacks is shorter length by around an hour based on one of the mtts I went deep in yesterday.

i'd prefer some adjustments for the future. When the median stack is around 25-26BBs, just becomes boring and not fun to play.
