Hey all,

My goal is is to grind the WSOP Circuit hard in 2018. (and other events) Will probably miss most or all of Choctaw but will be in a position to travel a lot this year. I drive commercially right now, being on the road is not new to me.

Would like to make contact with some of you grinders out there and share some experiences, hand histories and maybe a meal at an event or two. Would be great to have a group of people to bounce ideas off and learn and grow with.

Got a story, experience, victory or crushing defeat to share? Post it here.

Ok, yes, truth is, I need friends....

Hi, I'm looking for people to travel with too, and share expenses. In your job can you take as much time as you want off, or do you have to do some minimum amount of miles or days to keep the truck? Did you find any people through this post?

I saw your posts about playing on ACR. Did you see Joey Ingram's YouTube video talking about cheating/collusion/bots on ACR? What have you experienced?

I've read the sites give you an "initial run good" (IRG) algorithm on your account when you deposit money. So you have to deposit, run it up, withdraw, redeposit, run it up, withdraw, etc. If you don't withdraw you'll run bad (by design, through algorithms) and lose it. Your story corroborates the IRG theory.

Good luck in your live tourney!

Thanks for the post ATC!

I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule right now. Just need to keep cash flowing to the blonde at home. Expense sharing would be awesome and have yet to get a response through this post.

I have seen Joey's videos and watched a video a while back with the (IRG) accusation and explanation. All of it makes sense, possible and probable.

I always see a lot of people entering the last minute of late registration. I know more and more live big event players late register as part of their strategy. But, until Joey's video didn't think much about the collusion/timing out together aspect. I do know from experience, that if you can have twice the starting stack at the end of late registration on ACR, it is pretty easy to walk into the money, if that is your goal. The collusion, group timing out, chip dumping needs to be addressed, that is cheating. Late registration and playing slow is a strategy, not a big deal to me sense everyone has the same opportunity to do so.

Now, with all that said, for me online is more for recreation, practice and training. Not counting on that for my income at this point. Playing live poker is where I believe the future of poker is. Bots, scripts and cheaters advance with or ahead of the technology created to stop them. Would be great to have a real player focused online option. At this point it doesn't exist for me as a US player. I May be way off, just my opinion.

Ok, in a couple weeks I'll be heading out then I'll check your other thread to see if you're ever close enough to meet up.

Thanks for the ACR info and congrats on the win!
