Late registry and re entering

Hey peeps,
What is your normal guideline for registering late and re entering mtt's? Do you ever re enter if you are going to have only 10 or even less bb's (for turbos and also non turbos). I am currently re entering almost at every level, and would like to know if this is bad. I would greatly appreciate if you could go into detail as this can seriously have an impact in my livelihood.

The higher your (expected) roi the later you can (re)enter basically
Whatever treshold you take is up to you and your own estimations really
