I usually have a cup of espresso to my first banana of the day, to keep me from dozing too much. Back up in the northern eurozone we don't eat much raw bananas, as most banana products here are of the compressed pollen kind. I must admit that I like this form of bananas a lot more, due to the stronger taste, though it does make you more sleepy than raw bananas, which is why I really need to combine it with caffeine.

I've had streaks of both exceptionally poor memory, social anxiety/phobia and devestating concentration issues, but I conquered them all through 1-3 month breaks and cognitive therapy. I was offered the usual prozacaments by my therapist, but after a couple of months when I got my memory/concentration back I immidiately ditched the pills for organic foods, as I'm pretty straight-edge when it comes to chemicals/pharmaceuticals.
Haven't looked back since...
