You probably won’t win or even FT a big MTT without winning a few flips along the way that’s correct. But there is a lot more skill to it then just running good. You have to be able to adjust to different stack sizes and be able to exploit people who don’t do so correctly. Taking huge flips in early stages is a very high variance strategy and having a monster stack early is a lot less valuable then people think. It might work for some people but definitely not the try at home approach. As other people said before Volume is the key to being a winner long term.
