Hey guys, I recently started to play poker. On the internet there's a lot of guides on how to do things but in my experience not all of them guides apply to microstakes. What kind of books/youtube channels would you suggest for a beginner? I'm only playing microstakes MTT's and its hard to find specific videos or books about how to progress in microstakes MTT's. In my own experience a lot of things dont work that well in microstakes as they would in higher stakes. Like for example bluff squeezing/isolating limpers, 3bet bluffing because people play so many hands that they actually call 3bets and squeezes with very wide range. So I would like to know if is there any specific book which would cover microstakes MTT's or any good youtube channel? I don't have money to buy memberships at training sites so either books or youtube videos would do it for me. Thank you for any future suggestions.

Poker-streams are very good learning platforms! They are fun to watch and you'll get to see how good players (if they are winning player) approach different spots, how they think etc..
I just created a Twitch-stream channel and will start streaming in March! Would love to have you there! Since my stream is small in the beginning, I'll have no problems answering all questions about my play etc and I will focus on interaction with chat (so smaller delay than most streamers) and talk you through my decicions.

You can see a post I posted on cardschat forum:

Np, thank you! My biggest goal with the stream is to create a positive community where we help each other out to improve our game

I get that twitch is a great learning tool but it can be dry. I don’t think the streamers have much personality which makes it appealing to a different demographic. Personally the things that made me fall in love with the game were poker after dark, Super System and live play. Maybe for you its math or psychology. Find what you love about the game and cultivate that before you get stuck in all the other trappings. Youll learn more about yourself in the process by investigating those things than by watching Jcarver talk about nit folds IMO.

I dont think you have watched much twitch :P "Not much personality?"
Have you watched Tonka or Lex? Cant find much more personality than them anywhere. Also if beating online poker is your goal, it's much better to learn from players that play online poker (and beat it), than to watch live cashgames which are totally different But yeah, everyone have different opinions

I have watched a pretty good deal of twitch and just think carver, tonka, veldhuis, and mcdonald streams are pretty lame. Just boring IMO. Those guys are more tournament focused so I get that they help for MTTS. W/E its just not my cup of tea.
