Can you spread a 2K turbo during the next DSE, I guarantee it it will get 500 players!!!
Edit: I think it's cool that DCarp did listen to certain players' complaints and responded to his customers, but I don't recall any kind of critical mass crying out for PLO rebuys during the month of April, so it's not something that should be a shock when the turnouts are weak.
Also, Rome wasn't built in a day--if the Venetian wants to create a market for mixed game tourneys, it should expect that market to grow slowly.
When TDs don't listen to players, they get s&^%$, and when they do listen, they still get cr*& because they listened to players who may or may not know what the hell they are talking about?
a TDs effort to cater to the players requests should be commended. I agree that TDs do need to rely on their own instincts and experiences more often though. Also, there is no reason for any TD or establishment to want to 'create a market for mixed games' They are in it to make money, and if the demand isn't there, they should simply drop it...regardless of the 20 very vocal people who will write 100 posts about how great the mixed games are and people like Chainsaw that will complain if the structures were better they would draw massive fields.
