Series should be special, so structures should be better then you're normal schedule.
Yes, if we were talking about powerfest then I absolutely agree and you can completely disregard what I said, I thought 8/10/12 and 10/12/14 was meant as a suggestion for daily tournies with big fields. Powerfest should be different and more special and slower structures with lots of 2 day events.

Also all of the feedback on what the table looks like in the posts above is great. The info tab is useless and having "Position/Remaining players (Next payjump)" somewhere on the table would be a big improvement. On winamax the next payjump number turns green when you're already in the money so even that info is there.

Use K and M when displaying large numbers on the info tab, like you do in the lobby.

I experienced a funny bug on the most recent Mac version:
When you bust in a 1-reentry 1-addon format (e.g. live steps satellites), the client is closing/crushing, then restarts itself (w/out login), re-opens all tourney windows. Obviously the reentry time of 20 secs is now expired, and you are out of the tourney.

I'm again scratching my head why I still play at partypoker.

Btw I appreciate your overall efforts to improve and bring more competition to PS, especially in the live tournament area, but the software is still a pain in the ***.

Yea the mac software is especially bad - unable to autoclick on betting window to change bet amount.

Re schedule and structure I don't think there will be any changes until a while after powerfest based on how well they're doing. Uppercut went past $55k a couple time this week.

What does exceeding a gtd a couple times in a $109 have to do with how atrocious the overall schedule is?

But well, I said that 1 1/2 years ago
PartyCaption helps with showing colours in the lobbies. Well it basically helps with a lot of stuff thats ****ed up in Party software, which is even more embarassing for them given the app was made by a single programmist

It did, but mainly on regfest days like Tuesday or Thursday I think. Just have a look on any recreational-heavy day like Friday. Uppercut didn't even hit lowered gtd today, only 367 runners, which with all the reentries is a disaster I think. To compare - Bounty Builder 109 on Stars had 1150 runners yesterday (Thursday) and 1090 today (Friday), so field didn't go down as much as Party's Uppercut which runs at same buyin in similar timezone, so we can't defend Uppercut by saying fields went down everywhere today! They did on Stars, but by a much smaller margin (5-10%) in flagship tournaments.

Given Thursday is mainly reg's day (because of Thrill) and Friday is recreational's day (no big major tournament on P* like Tuesday/Battle Royale/Thrill + start of weekend meaning more recreationals sit down to play MTTs, just like on Saturday too) this shows that all field increases on Party are just caused by more regs playing certain tournaments

Maybe it's just my subjective feeling, but grinding Stars and Party midstakes simultaneously I feel like Party is way more regheavy than Stars currently, and you could especially feel it on day like today, where all the recs have chosen Stars tournaments and tables were incredibly soft, while Party 55's/109's were usual regfest, just in smaller field (due to plenty mid/high regs taking it easy after Thursday's grind).

Whatever Party is doing - I'm not even sure if its just down to schedule, down to software, or down to overall strategy, it doesn't encourage recreationals to play here.

Why wouldn't it be a regfest?

Effectively zero rewards/rakeback for low volume or small stakes recreationals given anything less than $250 in buy ins weekly is written off.

Consulting players is pointless if they lack empathy and/or common sense.

Tbf any recreational would be a no no if he had to grind on this atrocious software. People will prefer stars because of the software. I recently decide to split my action between stars and party but i would have left if i didnt find out about party caption and this was a suggestion in my thread. Its not even popular like hm2 or pt4

How many recs do you know searching and buying software in order to improve a terrible software when stars is there?

+1 for longer blind levels and 2 day tournaments. Right now Powerfest tournaments feels like regular ones.

Changing $11 games form 8-10-12 to 6-8-10 feel like a slap in the face. Probably will stop playing your regular schedule until this turbo farce at low stakes is stopped.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the feedback.

Colette is on well deserved holiday until the 23rd I believe.

All feedback regarding software is as ever passed on and we hope for new updates in the near future.

- For those grinding powerfest and want little upgrade on software as ever, I strongly recommend partycaption

- For those claiming we have leaderboards so my horses can win them instead of promotions for amateurs. 1) I have only had a % of one guy winning which he misclick registered some tournaments he wasnt even allowed to play, there is a tonne of promotions and money invested in the lower ends. Click and collect, centrolls etc

- Two day tournaments, I was singing off the same hymn sheet as all you guys. If you asked anybody about the 2 day tournaments on partypoker they would say "oh the ones patrick suggested" I harped on about them for long time, but they just weren't as popular as we initially though. Maybe it was bad time after summer etc I'm not sure and eventually we need to have them I'm positive of that, for this series they won't be though.

- In terms of reentry in psko, I actually think it should be maximum unlimited reentires always in psko for as long as late reg ends, if a reg buys in after 2 hours with 20bbs in a bounty hunter its great for you and they get to gamble if thats what they want to do and guarantees become higher.

Played a couple of regular schedule MTT's and it quickly became apparent just how fast they we're in regards to structure. I actually found myself double checking the tournament lobby's to make sure I hadn't in fact registered for turbo MTT's.

On further investigation, I discovered that 6 min starting blinds is in fact the 'norm' for a regular speed MTT on PartyPoker these days.

I personally feel that this is way too quick for a regular MTT and too close to your turbo speed MTT's, which are set at 5 min starting blinds.

Having a starting difference between your regular and turbo speed MTT's of only '1 min' is next to no difference at all and therefore they both play pretty much the same for the first couple of hours. This is less than ideal for players looking to play something a little slower and something that doesn't play so much like a 'flip-fest', which turbos commonly do.

IMO, regular speed MTT's should at the very least have 8-10 min blind levels from 'start to finish'. I don't feel that players should have to survive to a certain stage of an MTT, just to then be able to play some 'regular speed' poker, which seems to be the current case and set-up on PartyPoker.

I think it's fine to offer some quicker/turbo events in a schedule but, not to the degree where everything on offer is like that. The fact that PartyPoker doesn't offer any non-turbo MTT's (as I see it) has to some degree put me off playing on PartyPoker.

Just as an added note, there also seems to be a serious lack of variety and vision or creativeness for the schedule. There is no 6 or 9 handed MTT's (unless you want to play an $0.11 cent buy-in 6max game - why you only offer it at that stake under $11 - I don't know) and the whole schedule runs as PKO, Freezeout, PKO, Freezeout, and so on and so on, hour after hour (and only on the hour) 24hrs a day.

I personally view it all to be a bit plain, boring and extremely repetitive.

+1

Hung around for the overlays and out of habit but found other games to bolster my schedule so I'm done till it evolves. Never been a turbo guy.

if it helps, I would rather have your own boys clean up those leaderboards than bot rings

Also check out only an approximate list of bots in WPN network (also being reported a lot of time, but they are just don't care).

@demario PM me, maybe I can connect you with PartyPoker support

lenC - I would have done some homework and put out how many packages those screenames won but party took down all the records for CPP package wins, but I do know some of the names on that list were there.

I mentioned the bounty tournaments as that increases the likelihood it's a supervised bot (?)

Considering there was already some collusion and multi-accounting found on the leaderboards, botting is really a kick in the teeth. I mentioned to Colette before an entire team should have been put on suspicious activity in those leaderboards.

edit: Would mention these are obviously very small sample sizes and not anything close to proof of cheating

edit 2: Supervised bot ties in with the data on sharkscope which has quite polarised win-rates. Makes sense that better players would win more with a supervised bot and vice-versa.

all low stakes tournaments feel completely like turbo's, changing to 8/10 minute levels is not at all unreasonable.

Not even the sunday micro-low majors have bigger blind levels.
It feels a little better cause bigger starting stacks but still partyturbo.
Also really you run poker series without sats for the events????
Why you don't give the opportunity to players to sat to higher stakes??

So the R+A tournaments today start with 75k chips, rebuy is 75k chips and addon is 75k chips. You can buy the addon at 3k-6k. Is it worth to get it for 12bigs?

yeah rebuys/addons are rake free apparently so they're worth it

whether you maximize your roi by rebuying/adding on is a diff discussion , your profit/game will increase but your buyin will as well .

Hey so are any powerfest tickets leftover after the series all converted to tournament dollars - even if the tickets are for a main event? This page seems inaccurate to me.

General terms and conditions says otherwise.

I don't know why the amount of big blinds would be relevant, just compare it to how much you paid for your other chips. If you have a particularly large stack you can think about skipping it as ICM is a thing.

hey patrick. I think for example the tittle fight with day 2 was not a v good idea cause tons of ppl dont want to commit on grinding sunday and tuesday 100%, i mean maybe they are not sure of grinding on tuesday and they say fk it i skip the tittle fight (specially recs). The 2 day tournament I am asking for is the classic COOP tournament like we have on stars. Starts on monday ends on tuesday for ex. i think it can work, ppl get more excited about series having a day 2 IMO. Tons of people might feel Powerfest is kinda regular day with different name, day 2 would make them more special. Anyway great work! i really like tons of changes and structures in general are pretty good. keep it up!

I played the Title Fight on Sunday and busted relatively early. Then I wanted to play the 10pm on Monday and 8pm on Tuesday (CET) but skipped them because I saw how long the Sunday tournament took to complete. I have to go to work the following day, and can't play single day tournaments that last 11-12 hours. I would have played if they were 2 day.
