DiVita was told he could withdraw but if he didn't he would be suspended and not be able to play the Main Event. So his "withdrawal" can hardly be considered voluntary.

That's not at all my stance. I don't think they should have let him play the satellite if he's not gonna be eligible to play in the main event and I've said that many times (not itt, in person during the tournament when asked about it by evertone).

I don't believe that this is how he's coming across / the argument he's making... He's acknowledging that his opinion is "tainted" based on him being the recipient of the seat (basically announcing that there may be perception of conflict) and then saying that all public statements have been that the guy "withdrew"...

I'm not sure how that turned into your statement here...

I cant believe all the replies in this thread. The guy is a ****ing child molester, not once but twice. Until someone shows paper proving it was an almost legal girl lying or providing false info about her age to him, **** him. Comparing his charges to any other crime is ******ed. $0.25 bullet for people like him is all they deserve.
