Yeah, this makes a lot of sense. I will bring it up -- it's hard to imagine how that could possibly expose 2p2 in any way, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be okay.

Dean is now talking to people involved with a view to resolving this. An apology/explanation/proposed solution will be posted asap. In the meantime it'd be helpful if people refrain from contacting his friends/family. Anyone with any relevant info regarding any financial disputes should either post here or PM me so I can help direct them. There's probably going to be a period of info-gathering before any further drama bombs I'm afraid.

So Mat basically said that the forum policy is to disallow these sorts of things, but if someone wants to draft an OP using one of the sites mentioned, we can send it to him for approval.

People involved deserve an explanation and proposed solution, but as far as apology goes...

of course he wants the website taken down, just like people wanted the truth the last time he came out of hiding.

There is no way the site should be taken down, of course he wants to apologise now, because he's realised he can't do anything within poker, and he'd be hard pressed to find a career outside of it.

There is no excuse for what he did, and the fact he's come clean with losing all the money just shows how much of a scumbag he's been the last few months.

If anyone takes that website down, I'll make my own copy of it.

Imo the website should stay up until everyone is paid back or until significant steps are made by Dean in accomplishing that. Once he pais everyone back I think the website should be taken down and a negative feedback post (and this thread) would suffice.

yeah, this. if he had come out straight away and admitted his mistake and showed a willing to put it right then you can maybe accept people make errors. as it stands it seems he has stolen the money, tried to get away with it and is now only putting things right because of the site etc.

First of I want to say sorry to everyone involved and for what has happened, this hasn't been a plan by me at all and is a result of my own stubbornness and stupidity there is no excuses for what has happened.

After the charity drive I was sent some of the money by Marc to cash out as he had limits, I went to do so and the cash out was rejected due to not clearing fpps. I had been grinding hypers at the time so I thought I'd just grind a few hypers then cash it out as the fastest way to get the cash out done and proceded to lose quickly, once I'd realised what i had lost I chased my loses and not only lost what I had of the charity's money but what I had in my account at the time. This isn't excuses for me doing this and it was very stupid of me to do so I clearly wasn't thinking.

I had some money in horses accounts which I should have drawn back on cashed out, paid the charity and be done with poker but I didn't I pig headed thought that I could get my horses to make back the money I'd lost and be able to donate the money which clearly hasn't happened.

I was an idiot and a fool and has cost me greatly both in the poker community and in my life. I will do everything in my power to make sure that both the charity money and the money owed is paid back with every cent I have coming in going to paying it back. I will sort out sending payment with lost ostrich and spathic and do so as quickly as possible.

To those that classed me as your poker friend I am sorry for letting you and myself down, I know that people will constantly attack me on here but please know I had never planned this, I didn't have an other motive bar wanting to raise money for the charity that has helped me so much who I have now held back funding for other 3 months.

There is no one to blame bar myself, it wasn't because I was ill etc it was due to my own stupidity and my own dumb choices and I will now do all that's in my power to make sure that every cent owed is paid back ASAP.

That post does **** all to clear so many points up. Why the **** cudnt u clear all this earlier? Why all the lies, fibs and stories? Why the **** all attitude on ur FB when u obviously knew this thread was getting fuelled with posts against u? Obv ur now regretting ur rep and image having gone down the drain so much, ur "friends" going against u and are realising u may want to play again in the future? LoL. Too little too late. unbelievable. iv seen some pretty ridiculous confession/apology posts from scammers on 2p2 but i'm pretty sure this one takes the biscuit.

I don`t want him to say anything, I want him to pay everything back. People talk too much thats their problem. Also an apology after you pressure someone to do so is worth ****. They most of the time just try to save their own ass(He wants the website gone).

Besides, where did the tell the whole story? There is missing a ton, he didn`t adress Yarbles. Imo the website shouldn`t be taken down at all for the next year, even when he pays back(Then they should make a note on the website that he paid back but it still should be up for everyone as a warning)
