Re: *** Bryan's Official Party Poker MTT Thread ***

Currently Party is behind their competitors in $5-$22 games. It is combination of two factors: poor variety of buy-ins and unfriendly rakeback system for small stakes recs.

For me it would not be a problem to play tournaments for total amount of $250 per week. Given that I usually play three days a week I would need to play tournaments worth of $83 per session. However, it is impossible to find enough games in $5-$22 buy-in range without registering to every $5-$11 PKO for hours (I would like to play $22 Conterder, 3-4 $11 FOs and 6-8 $5 FOs per session on Party).

Currently I don't play on Party at all, but I would return if you had $11 FOs and a way less PKOs.

Re: *** Bryan's Official Party Poker MTT Thread ***

will be interesting to see the next few months, agree with most feedback in this thread it will be interesting to see what mtts they can offer to the general poplulation of players, would love to see some better offerings of all kinds of stakes with different formats throughout the day.

be good to see rebuys possibly come back though it seems a dying breed

+1 to what mement said basically though

Today, I'm pleased to announce that I'm once again active in the industry and working with online tournaments. I've joined Party Poker and I'm working on projects related to MTTs, with a specific focus on MTT series.

I'm in the process of putting together a new micro series (perhaps with some limited low-stakes), one which will play later this year. Currently, I'm studying historical data from our site to gain a feel for which games work best, which ones the players love the most at the various levels, etc.

What I don't have, and what I can't get just by scanning reports, is direct feedback from our players... and those of you who've read my posts for any length of time know that I value feedback very, very highly.

I'll have some specific questions to offer in the next few days, but in the meantime I'd like to leave the floor open to any feedback you have for a new micro series, as well as any feedback you have to offer for series in general.

Thanks for taking the time, and hello again!
Hey, nice to have another rep working on mtts, if you want some feedback, have a good read through the party mtt discussion thread over the past 12 months There are pages upon pages of players making suggestions. My biggest issues with mtts on party are the real lack of different buy in options and types of mtts, the schedule is far too repetitive and there is just not enough variety in structures, formats etc.

Huge +1 to everything Mement and Ozzy said.

More than anything though, the software needs to improve before I'd consider playing on party. However if you managed to put together a great series, which we all know you're capable of doing, then id play regardless of the software.

-A euro time midday daily major
-A sunday $11 vanilla major
-Morning/early afternoon schedule revamp
-No negative changes to mtts (rake, payouts, etc)

Less re-entries especially ones where people can register very short which significantly affects play.

Euro early major would be nice.

And more variety!

Having so many similar tournaments reoccuring throughout the day is not only a bit boring but has to lead to some cannabalisation when late reg is open for so long.

As for the powerfest series, 888 and party both seem to push their regular schedule often with very similar guarantees. Instead have way fewer events per day and offer some more prestige and hype for the hopefully varied few events that do make the powerfest cut.

Re: *** Bryan's Official Party Poker MTT Thread ***

Hello Bryan!

I wish

1)Fast foward-type On demand tournament (turbo & hyper turbo) in the normal schedule
Something like Full tilt Rush On demand tournament. That was a lot of fun and I think it's good for rec players(play a lot of hands with one table and finish in a relatively short amount of time). I think It's good format for mobile app.

2)Adding NLO8 MTT (Normal schedule and MTT series)
888 and WPN also have NLO8 MTT.
There may not be a big demand right now, but if traffic increases in the future, I think it is worth adding NLO8 MTT.

I still want PKO's but just much less frequently, it is a bit ridiculous that half of the small stakes MTT's ($5-$11) are PKO's ATM.

Welcome back Bryan! Wow move by Party, can't wait for Powerfest now !

As others said, make a midstakes series rather than a micro one? Anything with a buy-in less than 5.5 or 3.3+R is pretty meaningless.

There need to be more sats. Also keep the 1/5 sats imo, I miss them on Stars. Adding 1/10 shouldn't be treated as a replacement.

gl & hf Bryan!

For micro-low series most of them should be 1-day tourney, but still some good 2-day events..

Powerfest: quality >>> quantity (and 2-day tournies!!)

Yeah i forgot to say GL in my post Bryan.

If you can make a series in the $22-$109 buyin range you will make so many people happy honestly. Leave the micromillions to PS, dont try and copy them, do something different which hundreds of us have been asking for instead.

A midstakes series that people who play GMT timezone can actually play without needing to stay up till 7am the next morning. Would be really nice.

I think its good that they start with a micro series. The problem with party is that close to all promos have been for higher stakes players and the schedule has been terrible for micro/low stakes.

This would be a good start and in the long run with improve the fields in higher stake series and day to day tournaments.

Re: *** Bryan's Official Party Poker MTT Thread ***

yo

schedule is incredibly dull with its 5-22-55-109-215s

it needs some spice.

add a bunch of 33$ fos instead of those idiot 22 6m turbo bowls

add some 44s in times where the 55s are struggling

remove a bunch of the garbage

make ALL of the idiot 109$ pko bowls LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE

22$+r

33 reentry 6max deepstack

44 turbo superKO

early 55$ 4max

11+R peaktime major instead of a bucnh of the idiot bowls you have

so many things you can do just please for the mother of god dont stick to the garbage buyin system you have

allow for normal filtering, it reallly cant be that hard to type minimum and maximum amount of buyins EVERY FUKEN SITE HAS IT

if u do this and now have bryan doing series that aren 9)% rinse repeat or 3 weeks straight you actually are in a sick good position to make stars regret the bullsht they have pulled in the last 3 yrs

Yeah would love to see these things happen, also:

- Abandon the policy of everything having to start at the same time. There is no reason that a $11 Brawl and $55 Brawl have to start at the same time, or that tournaments can only start at x.00 or x.30. I think the heart was in the right place with the decision but in practice it's awful imo

- I would rather those 22pko turbo 6max got replaced by something else altogether, but if that's not possible please turn them into vanilla. As it is now they are just an even more withered version of an already bad tournament. Only the most hardcore leaderboard grinders and bots seems interested in them. Also they really discourage latereg.

- No plans to go to Russia, DTD, German Championship or Caribbean so it's a big missed opportunity to make them take up half of my lobby during peak hours.
