Hello everyone,

Going to a trip soon to rozvadov and will fire at a 350EUR MTT and maybe some others close to that range as well.

What would be the best way to prepare for someone who does not have access to games (country/ laws restrictions) ?

Get good sleep.
Eat well.
Get all of your affairs in order (make peace with those close to you).
Take a backpack with snacks/warm-clothes/water.
If you are inexperienced playing live games, wear sunglasses/hoody/hat.
Know your preflop ranges and how to respond to 3bets and squeezes.
Understand ICM.
Know your short stack shoving and calling ranges.
The buyin is small enough that there will be many inexperienced players so don't be intimidated.
Relax and enjoy yourself.
Good luck.

drink plenty of water throughout the tourney.
I don't know about you but i play better on a empty stomach rather than eating a meal before hand or during the tourney. feel more alert towards the end of a 8 hour long tournament.

I might experiment with drinking protein shakes in water while i play since I'm into fitness.

everything else awesome posted.

Thanks !

I have some experience playing live, however mostly cash games. I also have some mtt experience with deep runs/ wins mostly in the low 4 figures.

Thing is in the last few years government here cracked down on online and live places are shady/overraked so I am not getting much "wet" practice in.

Pokerhsmtt - I am also into fitness, what are your thoughts on doing a morning workout on tourney day ?

Youareawesome - def great tips, thanks. Im telling myself now that when Im there dont get too carried away in the cash games till late and remmember to get sleep before the tourney grind.

What are your thoughts on best ways to prepare theory wise ? Without paying subscription fees atm, what are good resources to brush up on shallow(er than cash) stack play, icm etc ?
