Maybe just to learn about hand reading?
Or about which board textures are good to run bluffs against different types of players, or different lines you can take to maximize value on the turn and river, etc. Do you just not even see turns and rivers ever after the first 2 levels?

I mean clearly very little of it is going to be directly applicable but if you put some thought into how you can apply some concepts to your MTT game I think it can help a lot more than most MTT videos out there.

Yeah i totally agree. I think anyone who is serious about MTTs really should take some time watching cash vidz/playing heads up cash to get better post flop.

On another note, rizen and scott clements videos are super bad...the hoodini vidz are better than either of these because at least he spews like a man.

Also how sweet is it that 90% of training videos are awful. Rewatching the videos I used to think were amazing is like hitting myself in the testicles with a hammer.

Me 2...watchin mtt vids anymore is just lame, which is why I'm quitting watching them...I'm tired of learning how to run well and certain +EV spots to shove while others say it isn't a good spot blah blah blah....gonna learn postflop ftw baby.

BTW pwnage was alright, but now it's just Chardrian and GF makin some vids (left before you got there zedveron or whoever), and rd really hasn't made vids, Wretchy it's like pullin teeth and the only vid of him was from his nitty days I guess. FU never makes vids anymore (quit?) along with phildo quitting. Matt Graham made 1 vid while I was there. Got kinda boring tbh. RPT doesn't have lil anymore but his 2 vids he made were funny sh.it....Seabeast's vids are <3333333 if u want someone with a real explanation and confidence in every vid he does. That's all I really have opinions on right now.

Moorman, after losing to The Yid in the Bluff POY race, was very upset that they didnt make themoormanvt.com instead of themavenvt. When he asked Daniel for his own branch of the site, Negreanu said, "Not until u win a Sunday major yfm?" At this point, he was totally over it and watched the British version of the (h)Office on DVD while enjoying a healthy dinner of tea and crumpets.

can someone explain this bodog thing to me?

i dont get what it means when people say "back when i played bodog" "hes an old bodog reg" etc

bodog is the worst site ever and nothing runs... did it used to be good somehow? how is it possible to be a bodog reg? why would someone be a bodog reg rather than play bodog AND stars/ft?

i feel like i must be missing something, and even though basically everyone that has ever had their name associated with bodog is ****ing terrible, im curious

I'd say maybe 4 years ago you could play a full schedule on Bodog. Not huge volumn but they had a pretty good schedule and was super soft obv. This is pre UIEGA and before Full Tilt was getting huge traffic.

Overlays were nasty too. You know the $50/50k daily on Stars? Bodog ran that like 3x/week...it never got more than 500 players.

yeah pretty much every guarantee had an overlay, the Sunday $100K would have like a $40K overlay, that still runs doesn't it?

Not sure if you want to once you've seen it. He is a good poker player but as a trainer/video coaching. Well you gotta see it for yourself. He made a couple of videos in realpokertraining.com but that site's support is a joke.

Obviously I'm biased, but I like our videos on www.ProPlayLive.com. I have made videos on every game you can play on PS, and a lot of MTT videos of all sorts. Also obviously, there are going to be responses to this post that are negative. No problem. However, if you haven't visited the site, never seen any of our videos, then please make that clear, so we can judge the validity of your comments. If you have seen the site/videos, then I welcome your honest feedback, whether negative or positive.

Thanks, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Why don't you ever know the colour value of the chips when doing the EPT live webcasts?

Is it becuase that in 5 years of playing them you have yet to make a deep run? I'm sure this is because you have been running bad, that is a much more logical explanation than the one which implies you ran good in the main event and are actually bordering on dead money in big buy-in live mtt's.

i agree with just about everything smokrok has said in this thread (and everything stealthmunk will probably eventually say)

I have had subscriptions almost everywhere and I think most people would actually not benefit from watching 75% of the videos. I legitimately think that the average mid-high stakes mtt player would develop leaks or misinterpret the mistakes made during the video.

With all that negativity out of the way, I think that the other 25% of videos are almost all very good. Stuff like Charder/Luckychewy/Goggles/Randal/JSchnett/mlagoo/Bond/Watts/etc etc.

If nothing else, from the sample on the site, yoiu do something that most people do not do on their videos. You speak in a clear voice and articulate what you're trying to convey very well. A lot of these guys stutter and stammer, mumble and swear, and a large part of the message is lost. Most of them sound like they're using a $3 microphone that came with their first pc.

Funny thing was Todd Arnold was helping him out to do the video by asking questions during the recording about the thought process that went on his plays. Also, before viewing there was a some kind of "parental warning" about the video. I'm not offended on foul language but it was like every other word he was just cursing.

I know Bodog looks like the software is a throw back from something in the late 80s but there Sunday 100k garanteed still gets a huge overlay......Considering alot of people like finding tournys with this kind of overlay why doesnt more people play it?
And how long can Bodog keep doing this as its bad for there bottom line!
